Lili of the Valley- Winter Walk

Hi everyone!
Hope you're all well. Any more Christmas cards made?
I have another to share with you along the same lines as the one I made here. This time I used the very sweet Winter Walk to make a Christmas card for my hubby...

Winter Walk is coloured with copics and I used my Kirarina Wink pen to add snow to them. Papers are by Bo Bunny (my most used pad this season). This absolutely gorgeous tree frame is by Memory Box. The snowy hills were made using a PTI die and the cut out stars for the background was made using the Starburst Cover plate by Mama Elephant. Sentiment of course is LOTV from their Christmas Tags Sentiment set. I added some white pen to the background as well.

Here's a close up.

Aren't they just the cutest couple?!
Thanks for stopping by today x

Bellarific Friday- Woodsies Merry Everything!

Hey peeps!
Can you believe it's the end of November already- where has the year gone?!

This week's Bellarific Friday was HOLIDAY WISHES so hopefully that has helped you get going with your Christmas cards!

I used the super cute Woodsies Merry Everything...

I decided to make a mini card using Kraft cardstock. I thought because the image had a lot of black and white on it that colouring on Kraft would make an effective card. I didn't use any blending tools- just let the pencils do their thing. I added some white pen for the snow just to give a bit of contrast and make it more visible.

Here's your close up.
Hopefully you can see the subtle mix of white, blues and lilacs on the snow.

Next week's challenge is FREE FORM so go with what you like!

As it's the first Friday of December, the DT will be using Em's STAMP OF THE MONTH which will be a crazy 20% off for the WHOLE month!

To enter, check out the details here.

Bellarific Friday- Nice To See You, Petunia!

Well hello there!
Bellarific Friday's challenge this week was a sketch (see below).
How did you roll?

I decided to use the wonderfully cute and funny Woodsie Nice To See You, Petunia...

Petunia was coloured with copics using my usual pinky/yellowy/green/purply combo. Glossy accents applied to all the specs (of course)! These papers are so gorgeous by MME- love the shine on them.  Sentiment comes with- just love the funny sentiments Em always comes up with!
Finally I added some hearts and mini arrows for interest.

Here's your close up.
Just LOVE the little chickies in their specs!

Here was your sketch for this week.
Next week's challenge is "HOLIDAY WISHES"

Bellarific Friday- Mo Manning Season's Greetings tag!

Okerly pokerly! Hope you're all well and enjoying some crafty time!
This week's Bellarific Friday theme was to make a tag.

I don't make a lot of tags I must admit so I decided to go full out and make a 3d shaker tag using Mo Manning's Season's Greetings...

This sweet lil thing was coloured with copics and I paper pieced her dress. The giant tag was made using Mama Elephant dies and I stamped the accompanying sentiment on a further tag and attached using ribbon and twine. I added some white pen for snow in various places across the image. Finally, I used some faux snow glitter plus sequins for the shaker elements. Brrrrr....

Here's your close up.
Have I told you just HOW much I love this Mo image?!
Such a gorgeous fairy-tale book feel to it!

Here is your sketch for next week.
Don't forget to send your entry to Em by Thursday for the chance to win Bella bucks. Your full details are here.

Bellarific Friday- Valerie With Snowman

So now the excitement of the latest Stamping Bella release has calmed down a bit, you can all tell me what's on your wish list!

In the meantime have a look at this week's Bellarific Friday entries.
It is the first Friday of the month so the DT are using Em's STAMP OF THE MONTH which is Mo Manning's VALERIE WITH SNOWMAN...

I love this stamp soooo much. Mo's unique pencil/sketch-y style is so amazing on this. Love the heart patch on her coat! Valerie is coloured with copics. I tried to add a bit of depth on the snow by using some BVs as well as Bs, BGs and Cs. Papers are Echo Park. Snowflakes are MFT Trio Snowflakes.

Here was your sketch.

Next week's challenge is MAKE A TAG.
There- that'll get you all started with your Chrimbo preparations!!
Entry details are here.

Another LOTV New Release Sneaky Peek- Cops and Cooks!

Hey folks! I'm back again to show you another sneaky peek of the LOTV new release.
This is the other image from the Cops and Cooks stamp set.

Here is our little cook...!

I coloured him with copics. Papers are LOTV from 2 different pads- the pastel jade is from Promises and the gingham from Sunny Side Up. The sweet little sentiment comes with. I cut a Dienamics frame and added the little napkin and cutlery using a PTI die.
Love this image so much- know I will use it a lot for both my son and the grown up males in my life!

Here's your close up. Isn't he just THE cutest?

Don't forget the check out the rest of the DT's designs on the LOTV Facebook and Pinterest boards x

LOTV New Release Sneaky Peeks!

Well here's some exciting news for all you LOTV fans... a new release is on its way on 10 November- or earlier for those of you travelling to the NEC!

There's a fantastic mixture of both "people" images and cute little critters. You're going to love it!
The DT Collective have been busy working away on their samples so don't forget to check out LOTV on Facebook and Pinterest.

So without further ado this little fella is from the Cops and Cooks stamp set. Yes, this range of stamps features 2 smaller images. So coooool!

Our copper here was coloured with copics. Papers are LOTV Father Knows Best. The sentiment is one of several that comes with the main image so you've got a choice for different occasions. Cityscape die is MFT, as is the larger star and the speech bubble.

Here's your close up.

Isn't he just the cutest copper you've ever seen?!

Watch this space and I'll be giving you a sneaky peek of "the cook" later in the week! x
