Cupcake Craft Challenge 11

This week's challenge has been set by Jenny and is called "There's a hole in my bucket"! So your design needs to feature a hole- it could be an apeture, a shaker card etc. There's a great prize of gorgeous brads up for grabs so do join us and take part.

Lauren has also put together a Cupcake Craft Challenge newsletter which features all the previous week's entries, other designs from the design team and lots more! Obviously I've seen a sneak preview and it looks great so do sign up!

So this is my design, I've called it "Hole in one"!! I coloured in the image using watercolour pencils and added some glossy accents on the golf ball just to make it stand out a little. I wanted to put a background behind the hedgehog so I measured the size of the apeture using my nesties and painted a circular background. The paper is from Artic Frog (Banana Frog) which I chose because it reminded me of holes!! I used my nesties to create the apeture and the scalloped frame. The sentiment was free with a magazine and perfectly fitted into one of the circles on the paper. I then added a Quikutz golfing embellishment which I bought off Ebay.

Crafty stash used: Stamp (Penny Black); Watercolour pencils; Glossy accents; Paper- Artic Frog (Banana Frog); Assorted cardstock; Sentiment (free); Nesties; Embellishment (Ebay)
