Paper Smooches- My Guy!

Hi ya!!

I've been really busy working on something I'll share with you soon but for now I'll share a card I made a while back but haven't had a chance to post.

It's a very simple male card featuring Paper Smooches My Guy stamp set....

I coloured a few of the golfing elements with copics and then cut out using the accompanying dies. I sponged a background using the MFT Geometric Grid stencil and some distress inks. I heat embossed in white the golfing sentiment on black cardstock and cut out using an MFT banner die. I popped all the elements up on 3d foam pads and then added some Sprinkles. Job done-easy!

I decided to enter this into the Paper Smooches May Blog Challenge- fun!

Supplies: Stamps (Paper Smooches); Copics; Dies (Paper Smooches, MFT); Sprinkles (Doodlebug); Stencils (MFT); Cardstock (PTI); White embossing powder (Simon Says Stamp)

Lili of the Valley- Hanging Around!

Hey everyone!
Happy Friday! Today I have a boy's birthday card I made about 6 months ago and forgot to blog!

This design features LOTV's Hanging Around...

I coloured with copics and fussy cut. The base is made using MFT's Diagonal Sentiment Strip Cover Up die cut in white cardstock. I then cut an assortment of strips of coloured cardstock to place behind the cover plate. The "happy" is a Paper Smooches sentiment and the "birthday" die cut is by PTI.

Here's your close up! Really like the bright colours on this one.
Thanks for stopping by today, I really appreciate it! x

Stamping Bella Uptownie Charlie Sits By The Chimney!

Well you'll be pleased to hear I've finally finished my Christmas cards so I will stop moaning about it now!! ha ha! I've got so many cards yet to show you! Good thing is I've used a great range of stamps- Stamping Bella, LOTV, Neat and Tangled, Purple Onion, Reverse Confetti, All Dressed Up, Gorjuss.....so hopefully you won't get bored!!

My plan for the next couple of months is to colour up some Stamping Bellas I've been longing to do for ages plus a couple of Project Life projects. If I have some time I would love to start my Kit & Clowder pencil course but time is always short so who knows??

Anyhoo, back to today's card. Today I am sharing Uptownie Charlie Sits By The Chimney...

Such a cool image! Charlie is coloured with copics and I added some fine dots using a copic multiliner and then is fussy cut. Because she's quite a complicated image, I didn't want to overcomplicate the card so I went with a simple strip of Taylored Expressions paper and added a Paper Smooches sentiment.

Thought I'd enter this into this week's Bellarific Friday of course!

Here is your close up! How cool does she look with the Christmas cocktail?! Wish I could carry off that look rather than having the Christmas frazzles!!

Mama Elephant Ella And Friends

Hello everyone!

Hope you're all well. I've been dying to use all these Mama Elephant sets I've bought but just not had the chance to use so I finally cracked open Ella And Friends as I had a little girl's 1st birthday card to make...

I coloured up Ella and her Friends with copics and cut out with the matching dies. I made the frame using an MFT Stitched Cover Up Companion (horizontal) and layered it onto a Mama Elephant stitched frame. The sentiment is by Paper Smooches stamped with PTI Lovely Lady ink (cardstock is Lovely Lady). Banner is MFT from Blueprints 28. Dewdrops are by PTI.

Here's your close up! Isn't that rabbit just THE cutest?!!!

Bellarific Friday- Valerie With Snowman

So now the excitement of the latest Stamping Bella release has calmed down a bit, you can all tell me what's on your wish list!

In the meantime have a look at this week's Bellarific Friday entries.
It is the first Friday of the month so the DT are using Em's STAMP OF THE MONTH which is Mo Manning's VALERIE WITH SNOWMAN...

I love this stamp soooo much. Mo's unique pencil/sketch-y style is so amazing on this. Love the heart patch on her coat! Valerie is coloured with copics. I tried to add a bit of depth on the snow by using some BVs as well as Bs, BGs and Cs. Papers are Echo Park. Snowflakes are MFT Trio Snowflakes.

Here was your sketch.

Next week's challenge is MAKE A TAG.
There- that'll get you all started with your Chrimbo preparations!!

I used a Mojo Monday sketch and created the banners using the Fishtail Flags Stax Dienamics. The sentiment comes with the stamp set. This is such a versatile stamp set as it covers both male and female birthdays, quirky romantic cards and  friendship cards. I've decided to make a male birthday card using the Jukebox, musical notes, 10 cent pieces and one of the sentiments- all from the stamp set. I coloured the Jukebox with copics. The paper is MME Miss Caroline Fine and Dandy as I thought they had a retro feel to them. The sentiment was cut out using my trusty Fishtail Flags Stax Dienamics. Finished off with some ribbon from stash and nailheads.

I'd like to enter this into:
