Neat And Tangled- Holiday Baking!

Hello! I'm back to sharing Christmas cards again today. How are you all getting on with your Christmas cards? I have to say I'm pretty pleased that I've got about 3/4 of mine done now!

Today I'm sharing Neat And Tangled's Holiday Baking...

This is such an adorable set and is one I coloured up during the 30 Day Colouring Challenge so I was all ready to go! Kay Miller did a card last year using this set and I've been inspired by that when I made this card. I cut an aperture in the middle of a white panel using MFT Stitched Arch Stax. I then created a ink blended panel to show beneath using Distress Ink and Liquitex. I then adhered the ink blended panel to the front of the card blank. I raised up the aperture panel onto 3d foam pads and adhered to the front of the card blank. I then arranged the characters around the front of the aperture. I stamped out an accompanying sentiment and cut into a banner and cut another banner in black cardstock and adhered to the front of the card. Finally I added some sequins.

Here's your close up! Look at that cutie pie bunny!

Stamping Bella- Superbella!!

Hi folks

I made this card yonks ago and forgot to post it! It's Stamping Bella's Superbella v. 2.0...

I coloured Superbella with copics and fussy cut. I made the card base quite plain as I wanted the image to take full centre stage so I just used some DP. I created a slider card using an MFT die and then stamped the accompanying sentiment.

She slides easily up to the top as she takes flight!

MFT: Harvest Mouse!

Hi everyone

Today I have another MFT shaker Christmas card to share with you, this time featuring Harvest Mouse...

I coloured the image with copics and added white gel pen highlights. I then used matching dies to cut out. I cut a small square panel of DP, adhered it to the card base and added small circle of DP. I created a shaker using the MFT circle shaker pouch, filled it with sequins and adhered it to the card base. I then covered the edge of the pouch with the Merry Christmas Circle Frame and stuck the wee mouse on top. I then stamped and heat embossed a sentiment from Snow Globe Sentiments and cut into a little banner.

Supplies: Stamps (MFT); copics; white gel pen; Papers (SEI); cardstock (PTI); Dies (MFT); Sequins (Lucy's Cards); Shaker pouch

MFT- Dashing By With A Holiday Hi!

So with the Stamping Bella release over, I've now had time to focus on making a good number of Christmas cards which I'll be sharing over the coming weeks. Luckily, taking part in the 30 Day Colouring Challenge helped me get ahead with colouring some Christmas images.

Today I'm sharing a shaker card made using MFT's Dashing Deer...

I coloured the images with copics and then added some white gel pen for highlights. I then cut out with corresponding dies. I cut two background panels for layering- one in DP, the other in red cardstock. I then cut the shake frame twice- one in white card, the other from a 3d foam sheet. I then assembled all the layers and pieces to form a shaker card. I adhered the images to the outside of the frame. Finally I finished off with a heat embossed sentiment.

Supplies: Stamps (MFT); Copics; White gel pen; White embossing powder (Wow); Embossing ink; Dies (MFT); Acetate; Papers (MME); Sequins (Lucy's Cards); 3d foam sheet (PTI)

Stamping Bella New Release Sneaky Peeks Day 5!

Well it's Day 5 of the new release from Stamping Bella- is your shopping basket gonna be overflowing with Bella goodness?!! I can't believe how Em produces so many amazing images every release!!

Today I am showcasing ODDBALL WIZARD...

Such a fun image to colour! And so versatile too- Halloween, kid's birthdays, male birthdays... I coloured with copics and added some highlights with white pencil. I then fussy cut leaving no white space which was a bit of a job considering how thin that staff is!!

I wanted to make a galaxy background so I blended together some Distress Oxides, splattered with water and then I splattered with Dylusions white paint. I then stuck down the image and some teeny silver stars along with the very sweet sentiment. I then die-cut a large stitched frame and made the panel into a shaker card.

Here's your close up!

The sparkle is wonderful in real life and the galaxy background is really eye-catching.

So that's all of the release from me. There are two more days of the release left so don't forget to keep checking the blog for the full range and, of course, the other DT samples! Also, remember Em always offers the chance to win some of the release if you comment on the blog!

Stamping Bella New Release Sneak Peeks Day 4- Oddballs!!!

Whoaah! Today is such a fun day of the release with a whole stack of Oddballs!!! You're gonna be piling these up high in your basket.

First up I have ODDBALL GIRL MUMMY...

I coloured her with copics and fussy cut. I then took some kraft cardstock and sponged Distress Inks through a stencil. I then cut into a panel and mounted onto a black cardstock panel. I die-cut a spider web and Stamping Bella's "happy"and adhered them to the top left hand side of the card. I then cut the sentiment (love that font!) into a banner and adhered onto the card on top of a black banner.

Next up we have ODDBALL GHOST...

Whoooooooo! I coloured with copics and fussy cut leaving no border. I made a panel using Distress Inks which I then adhered to some DP and black cardstock. I die-cut a spider web and the sentiment into a banner (I coloured the sentiment with copics and white gel pen). I then assembled all the elements, raising the ghost up onto 3d foam pads. Job done!

Finally I'd like to introduce you to ODDBALL MOTH...

Personally, this is my favourite sample I made for the release! I love how she turned out and I think a journal page is perfect for her!

I stamped out several of the moths and then coloured them and her with copics and added some white gel pen. I then cut out leaving no white space. (I cut off the antennae and laces on her shoes).

To make the page I adhered some ripped sheet music and dictionary paper and glued onto my book page. I then added some masking tape and then covered the page with Gesso. I used texture paste through a stencil to create that lovely texture. I then used Lindy's Sprays (Cafe Au Lait), Crafty Notions Gold Spray and Jane Davenport Mermaid Marker (Reef) with a water spray to create colour. Then finished off with splattered black and white Liquitex. When dry I added some Gelatos (Butterscotch, Banana, Coconut) plus some Dylusions White Linen paint for the yellow light. I then adhered the images with 3D Matte Gel and outlined them with a Uniball black pen and Distress Marker in Black Soot. I drew back on the antennae and laces. Finally I added the sentiment and smudged some Gelatos around the edges.

Stamping Bella New Release Sneaky Peeks Day 3!!

Okey dokey folks, it's day 3 of the Stamping Bella release and I expect you're already making a very long list of purchases!! I love to enable!! ha ha.

So today I'm showcasing a couple of Christmas samples. First up is THE PENGUIN ON A REINDEER ON A POLAR BEAR...

Oh wow! This is such an amazing stamp to colour! I coloured with copics and added some white gel pen highlights and some white pencil on the tree. I also added a touch of Stickles on the baubles. I then fussy cut. I die-cut some stars in a white panel and adhered some DP to the bottom. I then stuck down some more DP to the front of my card base and then layered up the panel on 3d foam pads. I then adhered the image and the accompanying sentiment (cut into a banner) on front of the panel. I know this is an image I'll be using again and again!!

Next up we have ROSIE AND BERNIE ON A BUS...

This is such a fun image!! And the sentiment is soooo cute!!! I coloured the image with copics and added some white gel pen highlights. I decided as soon as I saw the image that I wanted to kinda do a polaroid-type feel to it so thought having the image on a noticeboard would be a great idea. I used an adhesive cork sheet and stuck to the front of my card blank. I then used some little stamps and embellishments I use for Project Life including Stamping Bella's Washi Tape Set and assembled all the items in a random fashion to look like they'd been taped onto the noticeboard.

We have friends who are really into their surfing so this card will be perfect for them!!

Don't forget to stop by the blog to check out all the other amazing designs and I'll be back tomorrow with three more samples!! Don't forget you have the chance to win if you comment on the blog!!

See you tomorrow x
