Bellarific Friday with Edna The Diva!

How crazy is it that we're in the middle of March already?! At least that means Spring is definitely here! Yay!

Today's Bellarific theme was GLITTER OR BLING. I decided to showcase the very gorgeous Edna The Diva...

Edna was coloured with copics and I added some Stickles to her wings and her fairy dust trail. I stamped her sentiment underneath. I decided to use just a large panel on my design cut using the MFT Wonky Stitched Rectangle. Papers are a Project Life pad by American Crafts selected for the crown design! Finally added some gorgeous glitzy faceted gems which I thought Edna would approve of!

Here's your close up. Gotta love Edna's dress sense! Leotard, crown and feather boa- unbeatable!!

Next week's challenge is the above inspiration photo- take it from the colours, the flowers, the sweet treats, the pastel outfit, rain, dancing.... phew! All your entry details are here.

Bellarific Friday with Edna Loves Chocolate!

Hey guys! How you all doing?

Today's Bellarific Friday was a sketch (see below) and my sample features a lady after my own heart- it's Edna Loves Chocolate!

The very gorgeous and voluptuous Edna is coloured with copics and I added Stickles to her wings. I decided to keep her on one whole panel with the sentiment instead of fussy cutting (gotta love that sentiment by the way!) Paper is by Tilda and the gorgeous ribbon is PTI.

Here's your close up. Love love the idea of eating a box of chocs in your leotard!! Edna is SO uninhibited! Love it!

Here was your sketch.

Next week's challenge is ADD GLITTER OR BLING! Can't wait to see all your projects!
All your entry details are here.

Bellarific Friday with Uptownies Belinda and Bernadette Bench Buddies!

Hi everyone!

Hope you're all doing well. Today I have such a beautiful image to share with you for Bellarific Friday. This week's theme was FREE FORM i.e. anything goes and the DT had the challenge of using the gorgeous STAMP OF THE MONTH- Uptownies Belinda and Bernadette Bench Buddies...

I just love this stamp. It's such a fantastic one for sharing with a special friend or relative- for letting them know you're there or as a thank you card. I coloured the girls with copics and added Stickles to the butterfly. I then decided just to cut out a portion of the image as I thought it would really lend itself to a circular image for a change. Papers are by Tilda. The tiny scallop edge is a Simon Says Stamp die. I then stamped the sentiment using SU ink and added some Prima gems.

Such a pretty image! Nothing better than a hug, is there?

Next week's theme is the sketch below. All you gotta do is create with a current Stamping Bella image- all your deets are here!

Bellarific Friday with Cosmobella!

Yep, it's Bellarific Friday! Yippee!

This week's challenge was the inspiration photo below. I was inspired to use the very sophisticated Cosmobella...

I coloured her with copics, added a lyra pencil shadow at her feet and added some white gel pen to her eyes. Papers are by Fancy Pants. The three main pieces of the sketch were cut using Lil Inkers dies. The teeny heart banner is by PTI. Finally added some Doodlebug Sprinkles for pops of colour.

Here's your close up. I've always loved this Bella so much!
So cool with the Bella 2.0s that you can now colour their eyes, lips etc. Love it!

Here was your inspiration photo. Next week's challenge is a nice and easy FREE FORM i.e. ANYTHING GOES! The DT will be showcasing the STAMP OF THE MONTH.

All your entry details are here so what are you waiting for?!

Bellarific Friday with Tiny Townie Becky Loves Bunny Wobbles

Hey crafty peeps!

Today I thought I'd share a Spring card with you- it must be coming soon, right?! All this rain rain rain is getting a bit depressing so I thought I'd cheer myself up with this week's Bellarific Friday and Tiny Townie Becky Loves Bunny Wobbles...

This week's challenge was to USE A DIE. So easy!
I coloured Becky with copics and fussy cut. I then die cut an aperture in a panel edged with American Crafts papers and raised up the panel with 3d tape. I stamped out the sentiment on a die-cut banner and then adhered across the aperture. Finally mounted Becky on top.
Top tip: when you're mounting a bit image over an aperture like this, remember some bits of the image with need 3d foam tape to make them the same height as the aperture but some areas will simply need normal double-sided tape (i.e. her feet, top part of her head).

Isn't she just the cutest?! I love her dress and of course her stripey tights!

Here is your inspiration photo for next week! So many stamps spring to mind with this one!!
Get your entries in by Thursday- all your deets are here. Don't forget you can win yourself some Bella $$$s  to spend!!

Bellarific Friday with Uptownie Brynn Has A Baby Shower

Happy Friday everyone!

Today's challenge over at Stamping Bella was a sketch (see below). I made a card featuring the very pretty Uptownie Brynn Has A Baby Shower...

I love how elegant and sophisticated she looks despite being heavily pregnant and of course she wears heels!! I definitely did NOT when I was pregnant! I'm only 5ft 1" so spent my whole pregnancy waddling about!! ha ha.

Anyhoo, I coloured Brynn with copics and paper pieced her dress. Papers are by Echo Park- so pretty- I especially love the one with buttons on. I added plenty of Stickles. The teeny scalloped edge is a Simon Says Stamp die. Sentiment comes with and was punched out using the SU Window punch.

Here's my close up. As usual I did some colouring over her paper pieced dress to make it look more realistic.

Here was your sketch for this week. As you can see, I rotated it and rotated the sentiment as well! Artistic licence, folks!!

Next week's challenges is simples! USE A DIE!! Get your entries into Em by Thursday via email or Mr Linky for your chance to win yourself some Bella bucks to spend! Entry details are here.
