Bellarific Friday with The Penguin And The Marshmallow

Well helloooo!
Happy Friday people!

I've got my usual Bellarific Friday post to share today and I've chosen THE cutest penguin you ever did see...

It's The Penguin And The Marshmallow! Such a great simple image to colour but looks so effective on a CAS card! Just so squishy and adorable. This week's challenge was to use the below colour inspiration. Now I know the colours looked quite Halloweeny but I wanted to make a Christmas card- not traditional colours but hey! I coloured him with copics. Used my MISTI to stamp the sentiment beneath him. Cut out with a square die. Added some sequins. Job done! Another Christmas card to add to my much-needed stash!

Here was your stunning colour combo

Here is your Mojobella sketch ready for next week's challenge. Don't forget you've got the chance to win yourself some Bella bucks! All your entry details are here.

Bellarific Friday with Edna With A Cupcake

Hey peeps!

Today's Bellarific Friday was to use the Mojobella sketch (below) and I chose to use the very gorgeous Edna With A Cupcake...

Edna was coloured with copics and fussy cut. Matching sentiment cut out with Lil Inkers die. I added white gel pen and Stickles to the icing on the cupcake. Papers are by MME. Saddlestitch ribbon by PTI. Sequins to finish!

Here is your close up. Let me know if you're interested in the copic colours I used.

Here was your sketch for this week.

Here is your inspiration photo for next week's challenge. What a gorgeous colour combo!!
Remember you can use the photo whichever way it inspires you! Entry deets are here for the chance to win some Bella bucks!

Lili Of The Valley October Facebook Challenge- 1920s Christmas!

Hi folks!

It's only just dawned on me how few Christmas cards I've made this year! Eeeeek!
I really need to start getting my finger out!

Luckily LOTV's Facebook Challenge for October is Christmas themed so I made a card using the very gorgeous 1920s Christmas...

I used the digi version of this stamp and printed her out twice. One copy I coloured with copics. I added some gold Kirarina Wink pen to her champagne and tinsel and Stickles to her tinsel. With the other image I stamped a sentiment below the frame, fussy cut the inside of the frame and coloured the holly on the edges of it. I then cut the frame to fit my card base and stuck 3D tape around the frame. I stuck the coloured image at a jaunty (!) angle direct to the base card and then stuck the frame over the top. Does that make sense or is it clear as mud?!

Don't forget to join in the challenge and pop by and see the rest of the DT Collective samples.

Planning- my first monthly layout!

Hey everyone!

Hope you're all well. Today, I thought I'd share something a little different with you.

Here is my very first monthly decorated layout in my Happy Planner...

This layout is for September and I used my July Scarlet Lime Subscription kit and a couple of stamp sets by Studio L2E, Hello Cynthia and Technique Tuesday. You can see the full kit on my Haul Videos page.

This layout is purely a spread of events/appointments etc rather than anything more. I used alot of stash from the kit:
a couple of journal cards- I laminated and punched out to slot in my planner
die-cuts- I used a couple of the larger ladies, the dress, ice cream and some of the flowers
washi- I used the yellow one along the spine of the planner and then repunched and the girl one to signify us being on holiday
stickers- I used both the plain coloured ones and the teeny version of the diecuts
papers- I cut up tiny pieces of each of the sheets of the paper to put on the empty boxes before the month starts and the couple of days where there wasn't as much going on.
post-it notes-I used the post-it notes to list my main goals for the month
embellishments- I used the paperclip

See you later in the week with a LOTV card and more Bellarific Friday! x

Bellarific Friday with Mo Manning's Game On

Hey everyone!

How's it going? I'm super excited as my craft room unit is finally finished and carpet laid so I've started to move all my stash back in. Still waiting for new blinds and my Dad's refurbished desk but hopefully it won't be too long before I can show you all my revamped room!

Onto Bellarific Friday and today's theme was ANYTHING GOES! As it's the first Friday of the month, the DT have the extra challenge of using the STAMP OF THE MONTH which is Mo Manning's GAME ON!

I love this stamp- so useful for teenagers or gaming hubbies and it's 20% off for the whole of October!

I coloured Game On with copics and added lyra pencil shadow to the ground. I cut out the image with a Lil Inkers square die. Papers are by Carta Bella. I made a little console embellishment to go with.

Here's your close up. Mo's images are always so much fun to colour and so detailed!

Next week's challenge is the below sketch..

Usual deets apply. Remember you can win yourself some Bella buckeroonis!
