Purple Onion Designs- Walter!

Hi my crafting lovelies...

Today I have just the sweetest image to show you- it's Walter (cute name) the penguin by Purple Onion Designs...

I coloured Walter with copics and added some Stickles to the fur on his hat. I then fussy cut. I die cut a square frame of Reverse Confetti paper and stuck to a small card blank. I then added the die cut PTI  "snow" and stamped the accompanying sentiment above it. I then die cut a PTI snowflake and placed that above the sentiment and adhered Walter so he was sitting on the "snow". Finally added a gem to the snowflake.

See you again soon for another Purple Onion card x

Purple Onion- Snow!

Hi everyone!

Are you done with your Christmas cards?! I'm close to being done with showing you all of mine, just a couple more to go now!! I'm currently working on some Project Life projects but I've got lots of new fresh cards to show you that are non-Christmasy so I'll be showing you those in a week or so. Yay! I've got a bit of Christmas card fatigue this year I think.

So today I'm showing you a couple of really sweet Purple Onion stamps I used to create a little wintery scene. The stamps I used are Snow (Snowman with broom) and Snowy Trees...

I stamped out the snowman and masked him out and then stamped the snowy trees over the top to create the scene. I then watercoloured using Distress Markers, added some white gel pen to create snow and lots of Stickles to the trees. I then stamped a sentiment from PTI. I cut out the image using a Nestie rectangular die and adhered to a kraft card blank. I then die cut the rest of the sentiment using a PTI die and added some twine.

I just love these stamps by Stacey- even the trees have character!!

Lili Of The Valley- The Perfect Tree

Hi ya!

Brrrr! This card sums up how I feel today! I can't get warm!! I've made a lot of LOTV cards this Christmas time but this is def one of my favs! It features The Perfect Tree...

I coloured with Distress Inks and added some white gel pen for the snow. I worked out a little sketch and cut and adhered the papers accordingly. I cut a frame using a stitched MFT die and adhered the image behind the frame. I then die cut the birch trees and stuck them either side and covered them with Crystal Stickles. I stamped out a couple of apt LOTV sentiments, fussy cut and adhered to the top left hand corner and then finally added a Craftwork Cards sentiment to the bottom.

Your close up. I do like how my colouring has gone on this one, if that's OK to say!!
Have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by, see you again soon x

Stamping Bella- Frostier!

Hey my crafting lovelies!

Today's card is pretty much the simplest card I made this year for Christmas but you know what? It's one of my favs!

A lot has to do with the fabulous image of course but I love the simplicity of the watercoloured image and nothing else- no sentiment, nothing fancy, just let the image be showcased.

Not much to say really except that I watercoloured Stamping Bella's Frostier with Distress Markers on watercolour paper. That's it!!

Neat And Tangled- Merry Beary!

Hi ya!

How are you all? Wow, November has gone fast, no? I can't believe it's soon going to be December!!! Today I have my first ever Neat And Tangled creation to show you!! I bought a few of their stamps so expect to see them in the new year but for now here is Merry Beary! I can't say that without thinking of Mary Berry!!

Anyhoo, I coloured 2 of the stamps with copics and added some white gel highlights. I paper pieced the scarf using some SEI paper and then using a craft knife, cut along the bear's arm so that I could slip the penguin under. I fussy cut both images and adhered the penguin under the arm of the bear. I die cut a circular aperture into a kraft panel and stamped the accompanying sentiment underneath (added a teeny die cut heart by Mama Elephant). Then I raised the panel onto foam pads. I adhered some patterned paper to the kraft card blank, adhered the kraft panel and finally adhered the bear and penguin using a mixture of tape and foam pads depending on where they hit the kraft panel.

See you later in the week for some Stamping Bella and LOTV!

Gorjuss- Nightlight!

Hallooooo!

Today I have another Gorjuss card to share with you. This one features Nightlight...

I coloured with Distress Markers- not so pleased with my colouring on this one. It was one of the first  distress ink colouring I did- hopefully I've improved a bit since then!! Anyhoo, these pretty papers are by Authentique. I added a couple of Reverse Confetti dies and sandwiched some cheesecloth between the layers. The sentiment was created using 3d foam and cardstock to give it dimension. Finally added some sequins and pom pom trim.

Here's your close up!

Back next week with Stamping Bella, Neat and Tangled and LOTV! Phew!

Lili Of The Valley- James Big Star!

Hey everyone!

Hope you're all well and getting some crafting time. I'm currently working on some Project Life at the moment. I've got 3 different projects I'm working on- a holiday, my son's birthday and his preschool. I'm planning on finishing these before Christmas and at the start of the year, am hoping to get stuck into my online pencil colouring course. Have you got any projects you're working on? As usual, I'll be doing my end of year project round-up and to-do list for next year!

Anyhoo, enough rambling and onto today's card featuring LOTV's James Big Star...

I coloured James with copics and cut around him into a panel which I adhered to the card blank. I added a strip of foiled MME paper which I thought would look lovely against the gold star he's holding. I then stamped "very" by PTI and die-cut the matching "merry" and adhered to the card. Job done!

Your close up! Such a fun character to colour!

Be back later in the week with a Gorjuss card. Thanks so much for stopping by today! x
