MFT- You Make My Heart Spin!

Hi ya.

Hope you're all well. Today I have a cute 3d box card to share with you using MFT's You Make My Heart Spin...

I coloured up all the images, adding white gel pen highlights and cut out using matching dies. I then cut out all the pieces to assemble the box. I then made a Distress Oxide panel to sit at the back of the scene. I then assembled the whole box with three layers and added the little characters. Finally I stamped and die cut a sentiment to go across the front of the box.

Here it is from a different angle. These fold flat to fit in an envelope- very clever!

From the other side!

See you again later in the week! x

Gorjuss- The Winter's Night

Hey everyone!

I've got a Gorjuss Christmas card to share with you today, I'm so happy with the way her colouring turned out (if that's OK to say!!). So this is The Winter's Night...

I coloured her with copics and added some snow using white gel pen. Meanwhile I created a watercolour paper panel and blended Distress Oxides and then flicked some water over it. Once dry I flicked some Distress Spray in Picket Fence. I then die cut a snowy hill and adhered it to the panel. I stamped a sentiment in red ink and die cut and adhered to the watercolour panel. I then inserted the panel into an Avery Elle pocket and added the sequins and folded the pocket tightly and adhered to a card blank. Then I adhered the image to the top of the pocket.

I love the contrast of that red against the snow!

Stamping Bella- Uptownie Tina Trims The Tree!

Hi everyone!

Hope you're all well. I've been really ploughing on with my Christmas card making and am pleased to say I only have 1 to make now!!!! That must be a record for me!! Keep watching this space as I'll continue to post them whilst I'm focusing on some other projects I've been wanting to get on with. I've got a big holiday Project Life project to complete and I'm really keen to get started on some Jane Davenport online drawing and painting classes.
Plus I've got lots of images I coloured up during the 30 Day Challenge that I'm really keen to make some cards with.

Enough rambling, today's image is Stamping Bella's Uptownie Tina Trims The Tree...

I LOVE this image so much- so fun to colour, especially the tree!! I coloured with copics and added some white pencil on the tree. I then stamped and die-cut the sentiment. I created a shaker card directly onto the card base and then simply added the sentiment. I tried adding some paper to the background but it looked better without so I stuck with the simple design.

Your close up.

MFT- You're On The Nice List!

Hey hey hey everyone!!!

How are you all? Today I've got some more no-lines colouring though this was a bit simpler to colour!!

I used stamps from MFT's Jingle All The Way...

I coloured with copics and added some white gel pen. I then cut out using the matching die. I then cut a panel of patterned paper slightly smaller than the card blank and stuck it to the card base. I then cut a white panel into which I die-cut a circle and stamped a sentiment. I then raised the panel onto 3d foam tape and adhered to the patterned paper. I added 3d foam pads to the Father Christmas and stuck him in the middle. Finally added a teeny heart.

A simple card but I think it's quite effective! Thanks for stopping by today, see you soon! x

Stamping Bella- Tiny Townie Natalie And The Nutcracker!

Hope you're all well. Today I have a just beautiful Stamping Bella image to share with you, it's Tiny Townie Natalie And The Nutcracker...

I coloured this using the no-lines technique with copics. I got such a lovely response on instagram when I posted this as part of the 30 Day Colouring Challenge so I hope the finished card lives up to expectations!!

Because the image is so beautiful, I wanted to keep the card really simple so I just wanted to keep the image as the stand-out focal point. I simply added a teeny flash of patterned paper, a sentiment and a couple of embellies.

Your close up. I'm really excited as I'm going to see The Nutcracker in December!! Yay!
Thanks for stopping by today x

MFT- Dashing Deer!

Hey everyone!

Hope you're all good. Today I have another shaker card to share with you- this was definitely my theme for Christmas cards this year!!!

This one features MFT's Dashing Deer stamp set and snow globe die set and sentiments. I coloured the deer and robin with copics and cut out with matching dies then added some white gel highlights. I made a Distress Oxide panel and splashed some Picket Fence Distress Stain over it. I then die cut a stitched hill and adhered on top. I then stamped and embossed the sentiment on black cardstock and adhered to the front of the card base. I then die cut a square panel and die cut into it the snow globe and snow globe sentiment panel. I then assembled the shaker card (including putting the deer inside the shaker) and glued everything firmly down. I finally added a little robin.

See you in a few days with a Stamping Bella Nutcracker card- remember the image I coloured for the 30 Day Colouring Challenge?! x

Lawn Fawn- Be Jolly

Hi everyone!

Hope you're all good and enjoying some crafty time. Today I have a CAS Christmas card to share with you. I made a couple of variations on this design, two of which I'm sharing below...

I used the MFT Stitched Strip to emboss some texture to place the sequins on. I then stamped the Lawn Fawn sentiment on white cardstock and cut out using the matching die. I also die cut the sentiment in white 3d foam and adhered all the layers together before sticking to the card blank. Ta da! It's very simple but really effective I think. I'll definitely be using this design again- maybe for a male birthday card.

And another!
