Hi! This week's challenge (6) over at Lili of the Valley is to create a Christmas card which should be nice and easy! The winner gets a guest spot for 2 weeks on the design team so why not have a go?!
This is my DT entry. I used the Lili of the Valley cute Spice reindeer stamp which I coloured in with my copics. I then highlighted his nose with some Glossy Accents to make it stand out- I think the photo catches it! The paper is from a Dovecraft Christmas paper set and the sentiment is Lili of the Valley from their Christmas greetings. I then added some square gems and I had this little bell and ribbon which I took off a chocolate reindeer a friend gave me last year and thought it would be perfect as a finishing touch!
Crafty stash used: Stamp (LOTV); Copics; Sentiment (LOTV); Paper (Dovecraft); Assorted cardstock; Gems (Lakeland); Glossy Accents; Bell and ribbon (recycled)
Thought I'd show you my new stamp sets- two Sophie's alphabets. I haven't heard of this make before but I was looking for a new funky alphabet set and I saw these on Ebay. I got them for £7.50 for both sets which is about a third of the price so I think I got a really good deal. They stamp beautifully (will be posting a card using them later this week). The other really good thing about them though is that they have more than one of each letter. At first I thought "why've they done that? that's stupid!" but then I realised it's so you can make words on your acrylic block before you stamp!! So then I thought "genuis!" I haven't seen that before- such a good idea!!

Ah, thank you hun! I love love love the reindeer. I smiled when I saw your letter stamps as I've just bought some and tried to stamp the word 'peace' realising I didn't have enough 'e' stamps so a clever design having several of each....love the style xx

Fab card, the reindeer is so cute. The sizes for the step fold card are
Base Card 10.5” x 5”
Fold + Score at 1.25”, 2.5”, 4.25”, 6”, 8.25”
and then fold, the smallest at the front of the card
