So the theme for Sarah Kay Challenge week 17 this week is animals. I love the cute little doggie in this stamp!
And the sketch for Sketch Saturday Challenge week 22 is below:
I coloured the Sarah Kay stamp in using watercolour pencils and then cut the image out leaving a very fine line around it. Using my nesties I cut various circles out of paper and card and layered them up. The background paper plus the pink paper and polka dot paper were all free with a magazine from yonks ago. To make the upper strip I layered up the polka dot and pink papers plus some brown card. The lower strip is made from some unusual paper/material which I saved from some wrapping around some flowers my husband gave me. I then layered up 2 flowers with a tiny brad and added some gorgeous champagne coloured hot fix crystals. I'm really pleased with all the colours in this card!
Crafty stash used: Stamp (Sarah Kay); Watercolour pencils; Paper (free); Assorted cardstock; Nesties; Flowers (Ebay); Brad (Woodware); Hot fix crystals (London Bead Co.); Flower wrapping (recycled)
