This week's sketch over at Friday Sketcher's is quite a simple one by Kristine. The sponsor is The Greeting Farm and they are offering some lovely new set of stamps called the Miss Anya Collection. I must admit I wasn't too sure about the Anya stamps but they are growing on me and I really like this particular set.
So here is my entry, sorry the photo is a bit rubbish. My sister asked me to make a card from her for my brother's birthday so I decided to use this sketch. The stamp is Beerafella by Stamping Bella and is coloured in with watercolour pencils and shadowed using a grey copic. I mounted the image on red and grey card. The 2 background papers I bought from Banana Frog (can't remember the make) and mounted on red card. The sentiment is by Lili of the Valley mounted on matching red and grey card. I finished off with a recycled ribbon and a Quickutz beer mug die cut I bought off Ebay.

I am just calling to say a very big special thank you for caring enough to leave me a lovely comment and support after my news of my son. Adam is 30 years old and has two children, a three year old litle boy Hayden and a baby girl Casey. Its been a difficult time to say the least but things have improved and Adam is home with his family since last night. He will still need a lot of time and a lot of changes and plenty of medical help but just seeing him with his babies is so wonderful. I thank you so much for the support and care you have sent and i will try and catch up with blogging in the near future
