2 cards and a big woo hoo!!

Hi everyone! Hope you're all enjoying this fabulous UK sunshine!! Isn't it heavenly?!! I've decided trying to post more often rather than doing one massive post once a week. Let's see how we go! First up I have some very exciting news!!! I am going to be a Guest Designer for Riley and Company!!!!! How cool is that? I'm going to be working with the July release of stamps and I can't wait!!!! If you're new to Riley stamps, do have a look at their blog, there's some fabbie card samples there done by the amazing design team or pop onto Splitcoast Stampers, there are over 600 samples on there!!

And so onto some cards...

First up is a birthday card for a friend using this gorgeous Sarah Kay stamp and these beautiful MME papers. I have to say that this Stella Rose paper pad is probably one of my all time favourites- I simply love them! Do please click on the image to see my card more clearly as I think you'll appreciate the detail more! I coloured the image with watercolour pencils with some shadows using copics and lyra pencils.

I'd like to enter this into:
Sweet Stop Sketches- sketch & extra of wings- I've added a gold butterfly
Cupcake Craft Challenges- lots of layers
Stamp With Fun- birthday
Spoonful of Sugar- let's celebrate
Stampavie- birthday
Secret Crafter- stitching (on my buttons)
Crafty Catz- furry friends
Paper Cutz- buttons & bows
Papertake Weekly- spots and/or stripes

A bit of a close up!

Crafty stash used: Stamp (Sarah Kay); Watercolour pencils; Copics; Lyra pencils; Papers (MME); Assorted cardstock; Brown tag; Sentiment (Craftwork Cards); Gold butterfly (recycled); Buttons; Thread; Flowers; Pearls

OK, I didn't manage just the one card but I'm on a crafty roll with more time at the moment so I thought I'd go with it! So this card is using a gorgeous PSX image I coloured with watercolour and lyra pencils. I love how it's such a big image. I made another of my Magnolia poinsettias using the Doohickey die.

I'd like to enter this into:
Winter Wonderland- mistletoe- I don't have any stamps with mistletoe on but I coloured the berries to be mistletoe berries so hope that counts!

Crafty stash used: Stamps (PSX, Waltzing Mouse); Watercolour pencils; Lyra pencils; Papers (Basic Grey); Assorted cardstock; Doohickey die (Magnolia); Gold beads (Art Institute); Pearls
