My Mum's Craft Shop- Beachy Beatrice!

Hello! My second post of the day and my last but one card for the fantastic My Mum's Craft Shop DT. I've taken a break from all the Christmas cards I've been making (soon to be posted) and as we're on the last days of our summery September, I thought I'd make a card featuring CC Design's Beachy Beatrice.

I'd like to enter this into:
Paperplay Challenges- choose a holiday- summer holidays
Whimsy Inspirations- anything goes
Craft Room Challenge- childhood memories
Deep Ocean Challenge- goodbye summer
Top Tip Tuesday- recycle it- the mesh (see below)
Totally Stampalicious- birthday card for a girl

Beachy Beatrice is coloured with copics and I've paper pieced her swimmy and cap. I double stamped the shell and starfish and raised them up on low 3d pads. These papers are the latest from MME called Bluebell, they're so beautiful. I've used the Catch a Wave Die-namic for the wave border and the sentiment is the brand new High Rise Lower Case Alphabet Die-namic. I sooo love this font!  Will be great for Christmas cards too I reckon- definately an essential purchase!

Close up. Used some old packaging- think it came around a plant- for the meshy stuff- I can't think of what it's called!

Close up, close up. I love her little rounded tummy!

Crafty stash used: Stamp (CC Designs); Copics; Nesties; Papers (MME); Assorted cardstock; Catch a Wave Die-namic (MFT); High Rise Alphabet Die-namic (MFT); Mesh (recycled); Nailheads
