Bellarific Friday- my copic journal- Callista Loves To Craft

Hey everyone!
This week's Bellarific Friday was ANYTHING BUT A CARD.
I'm so excited to show you my copic journal featuring, who else, but Callista Loves To Craft...

I've been wanting to do a copic journal forever! I've finally got round to it and here it is- ta dah! I'm actually planning on doing 2 journals: this one which has copic combos for specific things e.g. eye colour, skin colour etc. and one for pure colour combos arranged by copic colour grouping.

So for this journal I used the Xpress It Blending Journal. The front is decorated using Callista Loves To Craft and she is coloured with copics (!) I squealed when I first saw this image. I just knew I had to have it! Papers are by Pink Paislee. Lettering is done using MFT dies. I laminated the whole decorated cover (I knew it would be used loads and I didn't want it to get too dog-eared) and then stuck it to the front of the journal using some heavy duty glue.

Here's a closer look at Callista.
Sorry, the image isn't as clear as it would normally be because it is laminated.

Here's a side view showing you how I've divided up the journal.
The journal is divided into 12 sections (with a little room at the end for a couple more sections). These sections are: Eyes, Skin, Hair, Clothes (specifics as in jeans), Skies, Snow, Water, Foliage, Wood, Metals, Fur and Light.
Big shout out to Michelle who is THE Storage/Organizational Queen!! She used these fab sticky Durable Quick Tabs on some of her storage posts so I thought "They look fab, I'll have some of those"!!!

A massive shout out to the VERY generous Sas who has created a huge number of templates suitable for us copic lovers to experiment with. They were just what I was looking for! Here's the skin tone one.

Anyway, hope you liked a sneaky peek at the beginnings of my copic journal.
Next week's Bellarific Challenge is a sketch (below). Deets for entering are here.

Steph, This is beautiful. Your colouring and design are so gorgeous... I love the papers! A copic journal is on my very long 'to do' list as well! I think Calista is just the perfect image for that!
