Card making and Stationery Hauls

Hi everyone! I've got a haul from Simon Says Stamp to share with you today. It was another mix of crafting, Project Life and planning supplies.

First up are the stamps- I got the Studio L2E (BeYouTiful Plans) , Kelly Purkey Hero Arts (Shopping Planner) and MFT (Family Planner) stamp sets for planning. The Studio L2E and MFT sets are for use in my monthly layouts and the Kelly Purkey is for use mainly in my blog planner.

Next up is a set of Simple Stories Reset Girl products. I mentioned before in my Craftie Charlie haul that I had purchased a Reset Girl Listers Gotta List Craft box and I wanted to add some other products to go alongside it. The idea is that I will decorate a Smash book with it. I got the 6x6" pad, some library cards and pockets, these gorgeous paper clips and washi. All purely frivolous purchases (more so than usual I mean!) but I really fancied the idea of doing some pure decoration.

Next up are a mix of Project Life kits and card-making papers. The Echo Park Beach Party and Summer Camp kits are for Project Life for layouts for activities we've done over the summer. The Echo Park Superheroes kit and the 6x6" pads are for cardmaking. I especially liked how unusual the Photoplay plaid pad was with the different versions for male and female.

A few miscellaneous bits now. Some white fun foam for layering die-cuts- I usually use chipboard but thought I'd experiment with this. Finally, some Project Life pens, MFT days of the week dies and Simon Says Stamp Scallop Stitches dies- what I liked about these is that the scallops are teeny. I have some large (MFT) scalloped dies but wanted some more delicate ones.

Hi. Today I'm sharing a Craftie Charlie haul of supplies I've bought mainly for Project Life. It features some specific Project Life products but also some scrapbooking supplies and some other papers for card making.

First up I got this Simple Stories Let's Party Snap pack and matching brads. I'm going to do some Project Life pages for my son's birthday and thought these would be perfect. I love these brads with the adhesive backing- so much better than the old fashioned brads!

I then got the Project Life Explore Edition kit. We do a lot of outdoorsy stuff with my son so I thought this kit would be great. The only thing is that you do get a lot of multiples so I'm not sure I'd necessarily buy a core kit again.

Here is this gorgeous 12x12" album- bought to match my craft room!!

And some page protectors.

Then I got some other papers- I bought these Reset Girl 12x12" papers to go with some other Reset Girl supplies I've yet to show you. I've bought these to decorate my Smash book. This beautiful 6x6" paper pad by Pink Fresh is for card making. Love those delicate patterns- so fresh.

Then finally some more page protectors and an Echo Park Wild Side scrapbooking kit (to document our trip to the zoo) and some Echo Park Halloween stickers.

Hey everyone! I'm here with November's Scarlet Lime Planner Society kit and oh my goodness, this kit was a stunner!! As I've said before, I love that she doesn't design stuff that's overtly seasonally themed and this December/Chrismasy kit is no exception.

Swoon over these papers! I love the combination of florals, plaid, berries and stag heads (not so keen on feather print). Also love the colour combination especially the appearance of black which has been on trend the last year or two.

Beautiful accessories this month. I love the design of the pouch with the planner girl flap that comes over the top. Just look at the gorgeous pen with that fabulous diamond and how adorable is the wee planner embellie? The washi is such a rich colour- hard to capture by photo. It's stunning.

Love the cork embellishments with the contrast of white on top and the stag paperclips are just so unusual and stylish.

Love the post-its though you could probably only write about 3 words on them!! These foiled tags really are beautiful- you could create a little vellum envelope for them to go in. The teeny stamp set I might use in my new travellers notebooks.

Ohhhhh, sigh over these simply stunning stickers!! I LOVE the illustrations of the jumpers, the girls with the wreaths, the antlers and teeny planners especially. The only one I don't like is the addition of the "cutesy" deer- I find it really sticks out against the other illustrations.

A close up of some of the die-cuts. How stunning are these illustrations? Can't wait to use these in this month's planner layout.

And the usual bags.

Hey crafty friends! Today I have a HUGE haul from Papermaze to share with you. I bought this to start off my Project Life supplies. It's a mixture of 12x12" papers, journal cards, stamps and dies.

To start off with I got some "boy" themed  papers and journal cards. The large 12x12" sheets are by Echo Park which you can cut down into individual journal cards. I also got a Becky Higgins Project Life Value Pack Boys Rule and then some mini Snap kits by Simple Stories.

I then got some plain lined and grid journal cards in different sizes although I'm now thinking I may have not needed to buy quite so many initially!! I got 2 further journal card packs- zoo and school themed as these are specific projects I want to do pages on.

I then got a huge haul of Technique Tuesday stamps and dies. The thing I've found is that because of the kind of stamping I normally do (very image orientated) I didn't have a great deal of stamps that were useable for Project Life/scrapbooking. So I basically thought about what I will be scrapbooking about and what themes I will be concentrating on and based my purchases on that. The first two sets are largely travel-based. Love the contrast of the circles and the arrows.

The next two sets are "boy" based. I really love the mixture of font on the first set.

Then I continued the family/child theme with these two sets. Love the handwritten font on the first set.

Then I got this month set and matching dies.

Then I got a stack of their Story-card dies. I especially love the one with the quotes on it. My son is always coming out with really hilarious things so I thought this would be great one to have.

More journal card dies...

One last journal card and the word "awesome"!

Got Simon Says Stamp and Craftie Charlie hauls coming soon! x

Hey everyone! I'm a bit late with this Scarlet Lime haul. I received this haul at the end of October and used it on my monthly planner layout but have only just gotten round to posting the haul in full. As you can see it was a stunning kit this month- so autumnal, beautiful colours and such pretty illustrations. Being from the UK, we don't do thanksgiving and I'm not big on Halloween (though with my lil one I think I'm going to be forced into it!) so I don't really like stuff that is heavily themed that way. I definitely didn't want a kit that had ghosts and witches etc.. !!!

Here were the papers. Christy is so clever with her colour choices. They are autumnal but not heavily so- the splash of blue lifts the colour palette but you also get that gorgeous brown plaid with its roots firmly in autumn.

Look at that beautiful post-it note pad- stunning! I didn't use it in my monthly layout because it's actually really quite big! The usual monthly tabs- I do still wish she wouldn't include these so often as I don't really use them. I'm new to planning but I can't see why you would use them every month. And some gorgeous journal cards you can view properly in the next pic.

Just look at these journal cards! I luuuurve the wellies, the cute fox, the beautiful bird and the coffee cup especially. Let's face it, I just loved these cards this month. As usual I laminated a couple of these  ("hello beautiful" and fox ) and put them in my layout.

Christy really out-did herself with the stickers this month- a mixture of puffy and plain. The puffy ones were really useful- I like the mixture of arrows, hearts, banners and brads and these contrast really nicely with the plain stickers. The plain stickers I LOVED this month and used a lot of them. Just look at them- say no more!!

Accessories this month were amazing! Gorgeous album, 2 washi, pen and pom pom. The album is really big and such a lovely print. Not a great photo of the washi but they were floral and plaid- check out my layout to see them in more detail. Love the little ribbon (matching the pen!) on the pom pom and I do like the pom pom, just not sure how/when I'd use it!!

Just look at this cute fox paperclip! I love how it's been made using paper from the kit and I love the use of that splash of blue again. This is the "cutest" item she's done in all the kits. I really like it but I'm glad she limits the "cute-ness in her kits. A lot of planner kits out there do seem to be heavily on the cute side and I love that her kit is different and features sweet illustrations like these stamps without being "cute" if you get what I mean! I used the little fox, the leaf and the wee branch in my layout.

These are some of the die-cuts from the kit. I used quite a few of these last month because they were just so darn pretty. Look at the beautiful bird and those berries.

And of course the bags they came in- loving that blue!!

Back next week with a HUGE haul from Papermaze x

Hi everyone. I'm sharing a Simon Says Stamp haul with you today. I must start off by saying I really am going to try by the end of the year to be doing haul videos instead of these photos. Time constraints and the fact that our internet speed is pretty slow has meant I just haven't had the chance to sort this out. I really am going to try to make the time as I know photos just aren't the same as a video. This haul was a mixture of general crafting stuff, some planning and project life bits.

First up are some Tim Holtz supplies. Sometimes I go off in a dream about trying all these new things when in reality I just don't have the time. These Tim Holtz products kinda reflected that! I had in my head that I was going to try and do some mixed media stamping. Ha! So I got this stamp set and a splatter brush. I would love to try some mixed media stamping but try them in combination with the stamps I normally use rather than using vintage/grungy style stamps but I figured I would need a few basic background stamps so that's one I chose this set.

I also got this ink palette for when (!) I start experimenting colouring with my mini distress ink pads. I loved the realism of these Tim Holtz Thinlits flowers. I haven't used die-cut flowers on my cards for a while (time constraints!) but thought these looked so lovely, I'd have to give it a go again.

I got these 2 Fancy Pants 6 x 6" pads. Just love the combination of plaids, stripes, dots and florals.

And some male pads.

Here are some Studio L2E stamp sets (used already) I got to use in my monthly planner spreads and for Project Life. I love the mixture of fonts and the teeny hearts and arrows especially.

I also got a number of Technique Tuesday stamp sets and dies. I think they are pretty much THE company to go to for Project Life. I LOVE their stuff! I have used some of the arrowed stamps already for making stickers for my decorated monthly planner spreads.

Lastly I picked up this MFT brick wall stencil. My very talented Stamping Bella colleague, Michele Boyer, has done a couple of cards using this stencil and masking off images and I'm keen to try it out though I'm a complete novice at ink blending so goodness knows how it'll turn out. I've got a LOTV Christmasy image I want to try it out with. I love this Kelly Purkey stamp set to add to my Project Life collection. (I realised I've got my hauls muddled as I've already show you the Simple Stories pad! Duh!)

Hey guys! Today I have a little Kikki K Haul to share with you. I got these from their Covent Garden shop which is fab if you're ever nearby. I wanted to get a couple more decorative items for my craft room so I got this gorgeous gold pot for my pens/pencils and this pretty little polka dot glass pot- purely for decoration! If you want to see more of my craft room decor, you can check them out here AND my craft room makeover results will be coming soon I promise!

I also got this 3 pack of foiled notepads which say Dream, Create, Inspire; a foiled To Do pad and a Vision Board Kit. Luckily there was a sale on so I was pretty pleased to have gone in that day!!

So here is September's kit in all its' glory! Have to say I was swooning over the colours. I love that it definitely has an autumnal feel to it but she hasn't gone for the usual reds, oranges, browns and yellows. Totally love that!

Here are the papers. Just look at those gorgeous florals and love those hits of bright green and peacock blue!

Next up was this beautiful set of post-its (Christie's own artwork of course!), foiled journal cards and die-cuts.

Here are the journal cards. I love the contrast of the lilac with the gold foiling. Will definitely be laminating some of these to put in my planner.

Beautiful florals especially on that seat cover!

Here are the die-cuts. Loving the cute pair of specs and the floral mac and boots. Can't wait to use these in a spread.

Next we have the usual tabbed dividers- I like these occasionally but I'm not sure if it's necessary to have these every month- not for me anyway. The gold paper clip is cute but I'm not sure I'd use the stamp to be honest. I love the mini stickers though and will definitely be using them in my monthly planner spread.

Here are the contents of the mini sticker pack- love! Just look at the last sheet with the specs and those beautiful arrows.

The accessories were pretty stunning this month. I especially loved the gorgeous planner pouch with pen holders in, the beautiful pen and the washi design is so beautiful!

And the pretty bags it all came in!

Hey everyone! Hi. I've got a little Love Cynthia haul to show you. I must admit I'm totally new to Love Cynthia! I came across her stamps on Instagram and just thought they were the cutest. They're a little Mama Elephant-ish in style and I love the fact that they are very planner orientated by yet can be used on cards as well.

I got some stamps when she had a new release over the Summer. First up I decided to get the planner stencil for my Happy Planner. Such a useful little gadget to have- stamp an image and then use the stencil to create flags or boxes etc around the image. Love that it fits right in your planner too! I then got these two stamp sets which I'll be using for card making. I adore the family one and think the sentiments will be super useful for Project Life as well.

Next up are some planner stamps. The icon set I've used loads already in the September planner layout I did recently so I know I'm gonna be using that a lot more. I've already created some stickers using the biggest image and she looks super sweet! The second set, though primarily for planners, I think could you use on CAS cards with the animals maybe peeking over some lettering.

This next set I think is aimed at planners/journallers who record their emotions for the day but I just thought the images were really cute and funny and would look sweet on CAS cards so I just had to get! The last set was a freebie (love the font on this set) as I was lucky enough to be one of the first 100 to order from that release- lucky me!

Hey! So this was the August kit from Scarlet Lime Planner Society. As you can see it had a whole nautical theme! I must confess I'm not hugely taken on the nautical theme as a whole BUT with the mixture of florals added in and the fact that there are some simply stunning individual pieces within the kit, I'm totally loving it!!

These were the papers.Think it was a clever move to add florals as I think the theme would've been too masculine and heavy otherwise. Love that starfish paper especially!

These were the stickers. Some puffy ones which were more "planner girl" themed. I'm glad she did that as it's tied the nautical and planning theme together otherwise unless you're going on a big sailing trip, I'm not sure how it would work!!! Not overly keen on the anchors or lifebelts but hey you can't like everything! One thing I do love is the colour palette.

I'm not sure about these woodgrain journal type cards. They have a nice texture to them and visually are really different to plain cards. I'm new to planning so I'm not exactly sure how you'd use them. They are quite thick so I'd have to see if I could punch them to put them in my planner. Otherwise maybe store them in a page protector?? If anyone uses anything similar, do please let me know what you do with your's.

Sticky notes, page flags and the usual tabbed dividers. Love the gold foiling on the main sticky notes and love that the page flags have different notes on them rather than just being plain or just having an illustration on them.

Swoon over this pen and washi!! Just stunning. The other little wooden stamps are super cute but honestly I'm not sure I'd use them very often. Probably just on the monthly layout I'd do with this theme.

The embellishments this month were stunning. I love stripes so I was very happy. The little nautical pouch and the gorgeous big bow charm are so fun and really statement pieces. I have the bow charm hanging from my planner bag. And those pretty paper clips- I especially love the floral one.

Here are the pretty bags it all came in! Look at the blue one! So pretty!

Hi ya. Here today with a haul from the latest Stamping Bella release! This release was an autumnal/wintery/Christmas release and featured Uptownies, Tiny Townies, Bellas, Edna, Cool Chicks to name but a few! We were totally spoilt!!

First up were these beautiful Tiny Townies. I totally swooned when I saw these- they are just SO beautiful. We're not really so big on celebrating autumn/Halloween over here in the UK as those of you in the US but I just fell for these images straightaway. They are GOTTA HAVE stamps as far as I'm concerned. Look at Autumn's beautiful skirt and the sentiment? Love! And Patricia with the sunflower in her hair and stripey tights??! I got the matching die for Patricia as I was looking at the fiddly leaves to cut out and I've used it already- it cuts amazingly around the image- really detailed.

Next up a couple more Tiny Townies. The sweet Skylar- love her little skating outfit and, oh my, Pamela! What can I say!! Is she not the cutest lil flower girl you evah did see?  And did you know there are more Tiny Townie flower girls on the way?!!!! Soooo excited!!

Then I got the gorgeous Christmasgiftabella and the voluptuous Edna. Christmasgiftabella especially is a dream to colour- just look at that dress and how stunning would it look paper pieced? You can see my cards for the new release using these images here and here.

To round up this release I got these sweet three Christmas images. I think the Gingerbread House is my fav- it looks gorgeous on a CAS card- see my release sample here. And who can resist a cuddly penguin??!

Finally I picked up a couple of stamps from earlier releases. Cosmobella- just has to be done right?! Who doesn't love their cocktails?! Tiny Townie Rachel is another GOTTA HAVE image. Love her rainy day outfit and what about the teeny tiny raining hearts?!! You can see the card I made for her original release here.

Back next week with the August Scarlet Lime Planner Subscription haul x

Hi ya. I've got a PTI haul to share with you today. I bought some of the new cardstock and matching inks and a load of stuff I'm going to be using for Project Life.

I know, I know what you're thinking.... I've got NO time for Project Life!!!!! I've got a basket full of non-DT stamps for card making that have been sitting there for months waiting for me to use- when the blimming flip am I going to have time for Project Life??!!!!

BUT I've spent ALOT of time over the past year working on my blog and my craft room. I'm intending that both of these will be kinda finished in the next few months so I'm hoping that the time I've devoted to that will then be free for new things like Project Life and doing some pretty planning layouts. I'm kinda excited about trying some new things!!

I will chat to you in the near future about my new crafting exploits but for now, here is my haul...

First up are some Halloween based products. I bought the October Journal Card Collection and the October Monthly Moments stamp set and die plus their Spider Web Trio. With my lil boy turning 3 (!) in November, he'll be venturing into the world of Halloween so I figured these would be fab starting places for some scrapbooking.

I also got the Monthly Moment Tabbed Stamp set and dies. These seem like a bit of a staple. I saw some great layouts done by Heather Nichols using these stapled onto her pages- both photos and journal cards.

On my last PTI haul I got the Twig Wreath die but they were sold out of the stamp set so I got that and they were also sold out of the Spruce and Sprigs die set so I got that- job done!! Am hoping to use these for some Christmas cards this year.

Then I got some journalling dies. I purchased the Journal Card Pocket 1, Journal Pocket 3 and Mini Journal Card die. I will be buying pre-designed journal cards as well but I thought it'd be fun to mix it up with my own plus great for card making too, right?!

I also got Journal Card 6 and Journal Card 3. I saw some great designs using the Monthly Moments Tabbed stamp set and die using Journal Card 3 so I'll def be trying that combo.

Next up is the new cardstock and inks. I bought Green Parakeet, Vintage Jadeite and Mint Julep cardstock and matching inks but they were out of stock of Mint Julep ink.

I also got Stormy Sea, Americana, Amethyst Allure, Pale Peony and Bright Buttercup cardstock plus inks.

And having previously bought the Shimmer Cardstock sampler, I decided to get individual packs of the Onyx, Silver, Scarlet and Cream Shimmer. I wanted to get the White Shimmer as well but it was out of stock. These are all fab for Christmas cards.

Lastly I got all the Monthly Moments month dies- some of them also have little additional dies with them e.g. speech bubble, snowflake, arrow etc.

Back next week with a Stamping Bella haul featuring the latest winter release! x

Just popped by to show you a mini haul I got from Seven Hills Crafts. I got the WPlus9 Friends For All Seasons: Fall stamp set and matching dies. I bought the cute Spring set with the pandas on. I didn't get the Summer set, as cute as it was, because I'm not really into little doggy critters but I eagerly waited to see what the autumn set was going to be and when I saw this cute bear, I just had to buy! I just love his expressions! And the sentiments on this set are really cute- just love the font!

I also bought the Simple Stories Bloom and Grow paper pad. Not very keen on the gnomes but love the other gorgeous prints in it.

Finally got some MFT Replenishments for their Surf and Turf dies.

Be back next week with a PTI haul x

Hello! Today I have a little MAMBI haul to show you. I've finally succumbed and bought myself a "proper" planner- the MAMBI Happy Planner. We have a family diary where we write what we (hubby, self and lil one) are doing. I also have a personal-sized filofax where I write blog posts I need to do re DTs, hauls I'm going to post etc. BUT I found what I really needed was somewhere to write all my To Do's. Up til this point I was writing 3 different To Do's (a personal one, family one and crafting one) every week on scrappy bits of paper and it was hard to keep track. So I finally decided to get the Happy Planner (Erin Condren style) which divides each day into three so I can separate out my To Do lists per day and see them over the course of the week. I also needed somewhere to log daily/weekly commitments to myself e.g. drinking more water, beauty routines, exercise etc so I thought this was a good place to do that also.

PLUS, all those Scarlet Lime Planner subs have got to go somewhere right?! I can't just stroke all the pretty stuff and put it back in the drawer!!

As well as the planner itself I bought myself some To Do list pads and paper, some planner bands and some page protectors.

And although my planner is going to very much be a practical one, the crafter in me is of course saying it will be fun to decorate it a bit so I got some MAMBI sticker packs, I have my Scarlet Lime Subscription and I have a few planner stamps too.

I'm not one to share lots of personal information (!) but I am planning on showing some of my planner spreads but maybe before I've written loads of stuff on them. Just the pretty stuff!!

And when I've got my planner set up, I will, of course, be showing you how I organise everything!! You wouldn't expect anything less would you??!!! x

Hello! Today I have another haul from the Scarlet Lime Planner Subscription kit. I gotta say I REALLY loved this month's (July) kit. Just look at that zesty lemon contrasting with the violety pink! Shouldn't work but boy it does!!

I'm even more excited about this kit because I've just bought myself a MAMBI Happy Planner and I'm planning on using all the Scarlet Lime kits in it!

Here were the papers. Such a gorgeous clash of colours! And I love the contrast of the floral with the abstract/atzec style prints.

Here are the journal cards and die-cuts-in more detail below!

I picked out my fav journal cards. Loving the over-sized shades, floppy hat and the florals in contrast with those bold stripes. Great contrast of images with text as well. Pretty and motivational!!

My fav die-cuts from the pack and I think from the whole year. I just crazy love this colour scheme!! I love that mason jar and wouldn't you just die to have a camera like that?!

OMG! It's that mason jar again! How cute are the mason jar post-it notes and the pen? It's my favourite post-it pad from all the kits so far. Drool! Just love that contrast of the yellow floral with the black and white polka dot on the pen. And that little album?! It's so cute. I'll definitely be using it for storing photos of my lil man in my handbag. Or you could use it for storing your current planner stickers.

Next up are the embellies and washi. I really like all the wooden embellies in these kits.

The stickers and stamps. Great contrast between the visual/pretty images and the practical planning side.

Sticker sheets in more detail. I love that you've got everything in miniature. How cute will those ice creams look in your planner in the summer? How gorgeous is that mix of violet, orange and yellow on the plain stickers?

And the bags it all came in! x

Hi ya. Today I'm sharing a Tim Holtz Distress Ink haul I got from Joanna Sheen...

I went for the mini pads purely because I don't really do inky stamping (if you know what I mean) and I wanted to use them for watercolouring images. Not had the time yet though!!

Look at all those pretty colours!!

Oooh!

And there's more....

Back next time with another Scarlet Lime Planner Subscription kit x

Hello! Today I've got a VERY big Purple Onion Designs haul to share with you. I've crushed on Purple Onion-Stacey Yacula for ages but you know how it is, when I do something I tend to get immersed so can't really buy just one or two stamps. And I thought to myself, do I want to get into a whole new range? Well, the answer is YES!! And I'm so glad I did- the only thing is finding the time to have a play!

For those of you who don't know, Purple Onion stamps are rubber and just come as they are- no packaging- so I'm showing you them stamped on cover sheets to store in my DVD cases. I then suddenly panicked that I was showing un-watermarked stamps so I've stuck a load of my watermarks on top so that they couldn't be printed off in case they get into the realms of Pinterest where I know that can be a problem. Please let me know if that's the wrong thing to do!!

First up are some background stamps- Birch Tree Background.

The Perfect Spot. I love these rounded trees!

Bunting and Tree Line (Horizon)

I then grouped the bunnies together...Poppy, Willa (Walking Bunny), Buttercup (Bunny), Chloe (Bunny With Flower), Rosie. OMG- schmush overload!! Love the different sizes too.

Next up are the birds...Finch (Sitting Striped T-Shirt Bird), Sweetheart (Owl With Heart), Ruby (Flying Owl), Sweet Offerings Set, Robin (Striped T-Shirt Flying Bird)

Then I grouped the foliage/fauna together...Toadstall Cluster, Blossoming Perch, Toadstall, Sunny Blooms, Blooms. I just adore the focus on toadstools and the ball-like flowers- so so  unique!

Freckles (Toad) and Tucker (Snail)- thought these would be perfect for male and boy cards.

And the little mice... Charlotte (Sitting Mouse) and Wishing (Mouse and Dandelion). Seriously, could these get any cuter?

The bears... Bubbly (Bear With Sparkler), Fireworks, Johnny (Sitting Bear). Think I might have mentioned before but my son was born on 5 November so I'm always scouting for firework/bonfire themed stamps!!

Some accessories... Balloon, Party Hat and Kite and Sign. When do you see square balloons?? Crazy unique!

Then I grouped the wintery ones together- Birch (Winter Bunny), Cedar (Fox), Flora (Winter Owl on Tree Stump), Filbert (Penguin With Hat), Holly (Mouse), Snowy Trees, Icicle (Polar Bear). I especially love the owl on the tree stump.

I got these sentiments as a lovely freebie! Back soon with a Distress Ink haul! x

Hello! Today I have June's subscription from the Scarlet Lime Planner Society Subscription kit to show you! As you can see this month's theme was totally tropical and I love it!!

Just look at these gorgeous papers! I love the top one with those gorgeous flowers against the shabby painted wood and I love it contrasted with the tropical leaves against the green background and the flamingo and pineapples!

Here were the stickers and die-cuts for this kit. As usual a great mix- I love the tropical tabs with the typed labels and the pineapple hydrate stickers are so cute!! As usual the "plain" sheet of stickers is simply stunning. I love all the flowering cactuses.

Here are a couple of my fav die-cuts included in the kit. Look at the beautiful patterned flamingo and the design on the pineapple. And the flowering cactus- just beautiful!

Now for my fav bit- this month's kit included washi, pen, post-its, wooden stamps and wooden page toppers. Sigh! All these = me happy! Are those stamps not just the cutest?

Oooh! Shiny! Love love these gold embellies and the beautiful pineapple paper clip. How cool would those tropical sequins look in a shaker card?!

Lastly, of course, the paper bags- so digging the tropical fronds one! x
Hello! Here this week with a mini-haul from the lovely Kitty over at MMCS featuring some MFT Dienamics and a WPlus9 stamp set...

I got the MFT Dienamics Flop Card- Square and Circle from one of the recent MFT releases. I just thought they'd add a great bit of dimension to an otherwise CAS card (which I struggle with anyway). I thought they'd be especially great for children's and male cards using some of the Mama Elephant, MFT, WPlus9 and Purple Onion critters.

From that same release, I also got the Surf and Turf Dienamics and Trees In The Forest. Again, the Surf and Turf dies add fantastic (slider) movement to cards which I thought again would be great for kids' cards. The forest set is just a cute little set for use with a lot of the little forest-y critters I've bought recently. I also liked them as they were very whimsical trees rather than trying to look more like real trees.

I know there are lots of panda stamp sets out there, in particular, the Mama Elephant ones but I haven't really been drawn to any of them til I saw this set by WPlus9. OMG- it was just the facial expressions of these pandas- they're kinda cute but not too cute if you know what I mean. And I love the fonts and the very very sweet "we [heart] u" and "i [heart] u"! Just soooo adorable! This set is the Friends For All Seasons- Spring so will def be looking out for the other sets (the summer one has dogs but I'm not really a doggy person so I'll wait to see what the other ones are). Kitty didn't have the matching dies at the time but I will be getting them.

Back next week with a Scarlet Lime Planner Subscription kit- theme is tropical! x

Hi everyone. Back again with my haul from the latest Stamping Bella release! As you know, this was an a-maz-ing release with the launch of Bella 2.0. How excited were you? As always Em mixed it up a bit with some chickies and Bunny Wobbles and I bought a couple of other older stamps I've been hankering after.

So first up were the Bella 2.0s. I love Thinkingofyouabella- she's a huge stamp and just amazing for practicing your colouring skills. I can see her top paper pieced and think she'd also look fantastic watercoloured. Of course I just had to choose Flowersbehindmybackabella as she's the DT logo I chose for my blog- I love her dress and hairband- how gorgeous will her dress look paper pieced?

Next up a couple more Bella 2.0s. Superbella is totally rocking Linda Carter- can't wait to use her especially!

You can see my DT sample of Balloonabella here. I think this was probably my fav Bella 2.0 of the release. I just love her dress and I think there's loads of possibilities for her e.g. layering up the balloons. I bought the matching die for her as I thought it cuts down on my fussy cutting around the balloon strings- be silly not to, eh?

Uhhhh! These 2 bunny wobbles are just to die for!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Sleepy Bunny Wobble especially the sentiment! He's just the cutest- love the hat, his bunny teddy, his big feet...I could go on....!!

Love these cool chicks and it's great that a specifically male one has been added to the collection. It's going to be such a versatile set because of the variety of sentiments. What's not to love about Edna- here was my DT card for the release.

I did also buy 3 stamps not from the current release- I've wanted this chicky stamp for a while. Just a perfect summery stamp- gotta agree with the sentiment. And cutesy Tiny Townie Becky- think she'd be perfect with her dress all layered up.

It's easy to forget that Em has a collection of journalling and mixed media stamps. I love these scribbles- just think they'll make some fab CAS cards used with a sentiment or as a background. Watch out as I'll be using this stamp set in a couple of ways very soon.

Back next week with a mini haul from MFT and WPlus9 x

Hallo! I'm back today with a small LOTV haul I made a while ago not long after the release of their teenage stamps. Jumping ahead a bit (my baby is still only 2 ha ha!!) I thought it would be great to have a good stock of teenage boy stamps. Seriously though, a lot of my friends have boys who will be heading into double figures so I know these will do the trick nicely!

They're a great little series and have got all main interests covered I reckon so something to suit all! Love his little quiff!

Jasmine! Sigh! She's such a gorgeous stamp- I seriously LOVE her! The plait, the eyelashes...   You can see a card I made for the LOTV DT using her here.

Finally I also decided to treat myself to the Teenage Boy Sentiments- they obviously can be used for any male cards. What I really like is the mixture of sentiments and also the grungy text boxes. You can see how I used one here. Love the mixture of generic male sentiments plus the male relatives and then there's a couple of quirky ones in there too! Great set- will use loads. My last stamp was one I bought to make a specific card for- you can see my card made using Baby Christening here.

Back later in the week with my Stamping Bella haul from the latest release!! Yay!

Hello! Today I have May's subscription kit from the Scarlet Lime Planner Society to show you.

Now I have to admit. These papers are my least favourite out of all the papers in the kits so far. I do like the bright blue floral one but I'm not sure how much I would use the other ones but sometimes stuff grows on me so we'll see! As you can see, there was also some lovely sticky borders included as well.

But this little set made up for the papers- LOVE!! A gorgeous notebook, post-its, washi and pen- loving the crown on the pen!! I adore the florals on these- note how the border on the notepad is reflected in the vase on the post-its!! It's the little details we love, right?!

Stickers- puffy and non- totally to die for. Look at the florals on the wellies, watering cans and umbrellas- swooooon!!!

The journalling cards this month were just so pretty! Beautiful florals matched with gorgeous fonts. And just look at those die-cuts?! I love love the wee little jar of flowers on the left- adorable!

And there's more... yep, I know you're looking at that gorgeous planner charm!! But also, look at that stunning paperclip- (you can be queen for a day), vibrant page flags and those cute little planner stamps- they're enough to get you into planning, no?!!

Now I know I usually post a pic of the gorgeous bags the kit comes in but something wonky has happened with my laptop and I can't upload it so you'll just have to imagine it instead!

Back next week, folks, with a LOTV haul! x

Hello! Today I have a PTI haul to show you. I actually bought this ages ago and have used quite a few of the products already but here it is, better late than never! It contains a mixture of Christmas, planning and a few basics.

I have the whole collection of PTI cardstock and a fair few of the inks so when they bring out a new colour, I do like to buy them. So this haul includes a new colour cardstock and ink, Lovely Lady. I also got a couple a couple of basic stamp sets- Background Basics: Super Stripes and Type Strips III. I thought the Super Stripes would be useful for CAS cards and in particular male cards. I have the other Type Strips sets and die- these are really useful for making your cards that little bit extra special with name personalisation- that's what I've used them for anyway! I especially like the top font on this one.

Next up are some stamps sets and products for planners. The set on the left is for doing to-do lists and was designed to be used with post-it notes. Totally love the idea of being able to decorate your own lists in different inks, different bullet points etc. Set on the right Moments Inked: Blog Banners Stamp set (plus die) is for blog planning. I've used this set a lot already. Used in conjunction with PTI's adhesive sheets, you can make fab little sticky banner/flags for your blog. It contains some really useful words to use like theme and sketch (which I use for my DT work) in particular that I couldn't find on any other blog stamp set. Super duper useful this little set! (I'll be showing you these sets in more detail when I write the content for my blog planning section within my Organisation Series).

Up next are a couple of Christmasy bits. When I did this order, a few of the matching stamp/die sets had their counterparts missing so I had to just buy what they had. I got the Spruces and Twigs stamp set (die was out of stock)- I've seen some absolutely stunning cards made with this stamp set and I really like the idea of using it with some large stamped or die-cut sentiments rather than using purely image-based stamps for my Christmas cards. Similarly, the Winter Floral Die Cover Plate (on the right) can be used for similar cards. The One Big Happy stamp set and die was their freebie set. Can see myself using this quite a lot- especially love the font on the "happy" die.

The Twig Wreath stamp set was out of stock but I got the matching die and the Winter Woods stamp set and die were also out of stock but I got the Winter Woods Cover Plate die. Very annoying!! I love this Twig Wreath set as it creates some really simple, gentle, dainty stamped images- very restful and versatile. I'll probably use it a lot for Christmas cards but also for thank you and get well cards.

OK, peeps ! That's it for this week. Next week will be my May haul from the Scarlet Lime Planner Society! x

Hey peeps! I'm back again with a Simon Says Stamp haul to show you. I ordered this haul quite a while ago so I've actually used a few of the bits already!! It may seem like a bit of a strange haul as it's got quite a few Christmasy bits in it but as I'm starting to do my first Christmas cards, I tend to buy Christmas stuff at this time of the year rather than in the Winter.

First up are a couple of boats/sailing themed items. I bought LOTV's Sailing Boat recently and wanted some paper to match so I bought this pad by Carta Bella. I then found these awesome wooden embellies by MME. You can see them on my LOTV card here.

I also got some pretty enamel dots- the Echo Park Matte Sprinkles- boy and girl assortment and the gorgeously glitzy MME Christmas On Market Street- loove the colours of these. I finally treated myself to some new twine. I've previously used PTI's twine but it was very hairy (if you know what I mean) which was nice for cards with a garden/flower theme as it looks like garden twine but for many occasions, it was just too hairy!! I've used this new twine from Lawn Fawn a few times already and I love it!

Here are a couple of Christmasy dies by Reverse Confetti. It's my first Reverse Confetti products! Kay Miller made some amazing tags, cards and felt ornaments using these dies that I felt I just had to buy them!

I've been meaning to get some Christmasy banners and birch trees for simply yonks. There are lots on the market but I finally settled for these. I've got quite a few foresty type stamps recently so the birch trees will be useful for those as well as Christmas cards. You can see I already used them on this card.

I just thought this Pretty Pink Posh tag was a really unusual shape and would make some great shaker cards and tags. Love the font on these SSS winter words dies- am intending on getting some white foam sheets to make them bit more 3d.

Last but not least are some crafting staples. I bought some new SSS inserts for Avery Elle pockets, a packet of resealable bags for storing some of my dies/coverplates in, the new Lawn Fawn stamp shammy (which is fab!) and a board for watercolouring when I finally get round to it!! (must mention Michelle from The Card Grotto as I saw it on one of her haul videos- thanks, Michelle!)

Hi everyone! I'm back with another Scarlet Lime Planner Society Subscription Kit haul to show you! I have to say this is by far my favourite of the kits so far. I love the mixture of florals and black, the fashion-illustrator style stickers and die-cuts and, of course, the FOILING!!!

Here are the gorgeous papers for this month. I love this floral one with the contrast of the black and the cute little bows are to die for!

Loving the weathered/distressed look in contrast with the flowers and those gorgeous gold splodges!

Here are an assortment of stickers. I just love the style of the illustration of these- they're very fashion-illustratory (if you know what I mean!) I've just bought some prints in this style for my craft room so they're very me at the moment. Just love the lipstick, shoes and the telephones especially.

On the left are die-cuts, middle are post-its and on the right is a Planner Girl stamp. The die-cuts are gorgeous- I show you a couple in more detail further down.

Next up are some gorgeous foiled journal cards, gold paper clip (I'm not sure I like, think it's a bit complicated design-wise!) and tabs.

Swoooooon! Take a look at the pencil case, pen and washi!!!! To die for!!!!!!!

Here's a closer look at some of the foiled cards. I really like these and think I might actually put one or two in frames to put on my craft room wall. Love the font on them especially.

Ooooh, look at these die cuts! Can easily use these in crafting. Loving the telephone and bow especially. Can imagine these going with Uptownies!

Just because. Sigh!
Back next week with a Simon Says Stamp haul.

Hi ya. I'm back with another My Mum's Craft Shop haul which consists of some of the latest releases from MFT and Mama Elephant. First up is Cub Cuddles by Mama Elephant. I bought the first stamp set in this series, Bear Hugs, ages ago but only just got round to using it here. It's a bittersweet stamp set for me as I would've loved to have used it for my parents' cards but they're no longer with me so I nearly didn't buy it but then I decided to get it to use for cards for my hubby from my lil one. Cub Cuddles is the second set in this series aimed at parents to their children. I love love love the little "I heart u" banner!! So so cute!!

I also got Pix's Favourites- a first set from one of their own DT members, Pamela Ho. I love Pamela's cards so I wasn't surprised by just how cute this set was. I love the flexibility of it- you can use it for so many occasions. My favs are the wintery one, heart one and seedling one.

I bought this die set from MFT called Stitched Strip Dienamics. It's a very simple set but paired with a bold sentiment (either stamped or die-cut) I think it'll be great for those difficult male cards.

I also got this adorable Snuggle Bunnies set and matching dies. I love that you can use this set for friends as well as for your partner. You could also use the stamps (minus sentiments) for children's cards too. I LOVE the bunny with his nose up to the sky- cuuuuuuute!!! The sentiments are super sweet.

I also got the Warm and Fuzzy Friends stamp set and matching dies. I'm quite into all these stamp sets creating little scenes at the moment and I thought this is a great set for male cards. All the little characters are cute but I love the extras like the fire, the sign and the tent- these will all be easily interchangeable with other stamp sets e.g. the Mama Elephant bear ones and Purple Onion sets. I really liked the sentiments on this stamp set as well and again thought they could be used with the aforementioned sets. Always cool to mix and match your stamp sets I think!

I got the Trail Mix 6x6" paper pad to go with all the woodland type stamps I've been getting recently. I've also been looking at getting the Carta Bella Great Outdoors, Echo Park Wild Life and Happy Camper and Simple Stories Take A Hike paper pads. See my pinterest gallery for more deets. Finally I got the Party Patterns stamp set- so so versatile for creating background patterns onto which you can layer sentiments. I've seen it used for any occasion cards. Great to have some staple stamp sets which you'll use time and time again and I think this will be one of those.

Okey doke- back next week with another stationery haul x

Hello! Today I have another LOTV haul to share with you. Like the last LOTV haul I got, I wanted to take advantage of a deal they had going so I purchased quite a wide variety including some Christmas ones!

First up were a couple of boy stamps. I've been meaning to buy the Yee Haa since it first came out to be honest and I've got some October Afternoon Sasparilla paper and die-cuts which will work perfectly with it so I can't wait to use it. I love the second sailing stamp- think the sails are ripe for paper piecing and I bought Carta Bella Yacht Club and some cute MME By The Sea wood veneer embellies to use with it.

Then a couple of cute girlie ones. This is my first Annabel stamp- love how her plaits are flying out behind her and I thought Little Nurse would be cute for little girls who love dress up as well as the obvious get well cards.

A couple of male ones- I have James Laptop and he's so gorgeous to colour that I thought I'd get James Peeping- perfect for really small CAS cards. Lazy Afternoon- your perfect male stamp basically!!

Next up a few Christmasy ones- 2 lamp ones!! First one is In The Lamplight- I have Skating Friends which I stamped for a card for my sis last year and I want to use In the Lamplight for her this year- I think they def look like sisters. I once saw a card on Pinterest using Festive Lantern and the colouring they had done around the lamp and the dark nighttime sky behind him were so inspiring so that's why I bought him.

Then looking ahead (yes, I know my lil one is only 2) but I thought some nativity stamps would be cute to have. Last one is Christmas Light with the candle- again, am hoping to experiment with some different colouring to get the impression of candlelight.

That's all for this week. Next week I have a Mama Elephant & MFT haul to show you from My Mum's Craft Shop x

Hello! Today I have March's Scarlet Lime Planner Society Subscription kit to show you- phew, that's a mouthful! As you can see, this month's kit was full of zesty yellows, greens, pink and red. Gorgeous!

Here were the papers and a couple of journalling cards. I love the papers- gorgeous florals and some leafy designs- and can easily use them in crafting. The kit this month, however, is definately more aimed at planners.

Such a wonderful array of stickers this month- gorgeous mixture of puffy and non-puffy. Can't wait to use these in my blog planner. Especially love the puffy banner ones. Think they will last me a long time though because they are so planner orientated.

Some gorgeous washi tape, beautiful pen, cute post-its and really unique wooden paper clips- love the "to do list" paper clip.

I LOVE LOVE the cute bow paper clips- I will definitely use these for my cards. These teeny stamps I think will be cute for using as bullet points for doing lists. I can really imagine doing a shaker card with these gorgeous floral and leafy sequins.

And here are the pretty bags the kit came in. Back next week with another Lili Of The Valley haul x

Hi ya. Today I have a Lili of the Valley haul to show you. LOTV have had a few discounts recently and being on their DT Collective, I thought I'd take advantage and treat myself to a few image and sentiment stamps.

First up are a few clear sets I bought- these 2 are sentiments- the Greetings Postcards set and Sentiment Tags. I've had my eye on both of these sets forever- the Sentiment Tags are often out of stock so I was finally pleased to get hold of them. I have the Sentiment Tags Christmas version and they're just so useful and I love the mixture of sentiments on the Postcards set. So so useful! I've used loads of them already!!

The final clear set I bought was the Grunge Corners. Again a really useful set for shabby-chic-ing (yes, I just made that up). I don't do grungy/shabby chic stuff loads but I thought this was a quick easy way of doing it.

Then I bought some rubber image stamps- these are the boys ones. Hanging Around and Big Present are part of LOTV's Returning Friends series i.e. they were retired but have come out of retirement for a short period! I've got a few boys ones that I've had ages (most of which are also now retired) but now I've got my lil one, I wanted to get a few more. Really love the boy with the present which I think can double up to be for an adult recipient. Hanging Around is sooo suitable for my boy as he's very active and constantly climbing and hanging off things! I thought the pancake one would be useful when he starts school.

Then I got a couple of female ones- Tea Party is part of the Returning Friends series.  I love this image so much, it's soooo sweet. Just love the polka dot tea set and the fact that she's dressed up for tea. Totally makes me smile. Midsummer's Night I bought as I saw a beautiful card on Pinterest someone had made with an amazing inky night sky. It really inspired me to buy the stamp.

Finally I got a couple of lovey dovey ones. These images just make the best anniversary cards. Especially love the Tango couple- love how they've both got their eyes closed as they're dancing. Awwww!

Back next week with another Scarlet Lime Stationery Haul x

Hi guys. I'm back this week with a haul from Hey Little Magpie...

First up are a couple of foiled pads from MME- both are Market Street (one of which is a Christmas pad). You know me, I love bold prints, bold stripes and bold polka dots so both of these pads are just perfect for me. Plus as I'm going through a whole majorly love Heidi Swapp/Kate Spade phase, it's fulfilling my love for everything foiled!

Always been a huge Simple Stories fan and their papers always continue to deliver. These 3 are Life in Colour, Carpe Diem and I Am. Just love their mixture of pretty pastels but with a splash of black- so bold but totally works! Love it!

A couple more MME pads. Hello Gorgeous has very pretty prints- very floral. On Trend 2 is another foiled pad with bold prints and some very "on trend" prints such as pineapples! Got the very cute enamel hearts and dots to match.

Last paper pad is Pebbles Spring Fling- such a sweet mixture of colours and patterns. As you know I'm not a huge fan of kinda saccharine sweet pastel colours that you often get on Spring papers and these don't fit that bill! Great for lots of woodland type cards- I recently bought a load of Purple Onion stamps that this pad would be perfect for. I also got some really cute adhesive enamel hearts and stars- gorgeous colours, no?

I posted this pic on my Instagram account a couple of weeks ago but was saving it to show you in this haul. I'm currently overhauling my craft room (through necessity as we've had plaster falling off the wall and I've got to have new windows put in!) but it's really a good excuse to give it a lick of paint and reorganise. So as I'm giving my room a makeover, I'm going to be doing lots of little decor bits myself hence this Heidi Swapp Marquee Love kit. I've got lots of other stuff I'm working on and I'm going to be going for a Heidi Swapp/Kate Spade feel to it. At the same time I'm going to be reorganizing my room and when that's done, I'll be adding it all to the Organizing section of my blog. And watch this space for a new craft room tour as well! I've got LOADS to show you!

Next week I've got a Lili Of The Valley haul to share x

Hi ya. This week I have my second Scarlet Lime Planner Society Subscription Kit to show you.

As you can see, the colour theme for this month is this sky blue and soft pink colour with a floral theme. Here is the kit in its entirity. Included in the kit this month are papers, post-it notes, stamps, embellishments, page flags, paper clip, pom pom charm, stickers, washi...  Sorry for the rubbish photo. It’s hard to get good photos when you have a two year old climbing all over you !! ha ha.

So first up we have these gorgeous unique double sided papers. I especially love the beautiful multi-coloured floral one. Then we have some gorgeous post it notes- I’m so loving the shape of these and that beautiful rose?!! Major happy sigh. Look at that beautiful summer dress paper clip as well- how pretty will that look in my planner?!

Then some drool-worthy page flags. Check out the gorgeous colours and patterns. Soooo pretty!

Some coordinating die-cuts and stickers- I see a good crossover with usage in my craft projects as well as planning. Such a fab combination of designs and colours plus they're all exclusive to the kit.

I am starting to really love the embellishment section of these kits- this month has a great variation: I love these cute little planner stamps in the shape of little banners- plan, done, note, urgent, remind, email, to do and cancel. The washi tape is to die for- the photo doesn't do it justice. These cute little cork embellies are so unusual and I absolutely LOVE these Flair Buttons. I haven't really seen these about in the UK a lot.  These ones were made by Paper Loves Glue on Etsy. What I love about these kits is that quite a few of the products have been designed exclusively for the kit by a variety of sellers on Etsy. In the embellishments I've seen so far, this has meant a really good variety of styles so I'm loving it! The only thing I didn't like in the kit was the pompom planner charm- definitely NOT me!

Last but not least I wanted to show you this month's little bags. I know it's only a little thing but you get why I like it, right?!

I hope you've enjoyed another stationery haul and that you're enjoying them as much as my craft hauls.

Next week I'll be back with a Hey Little Magpie haul for all you purist crafters out there! x

Hi everyone.

Today I've got a something a bit different to show you- a stationery haul from the Scarlet Lime Planner Society subscription.

When my hubby asked me what I'd like for Christmas. Obviously I thought about the usual load of craft supplies I could get but then, as crazy as it sounds, I thought actually I'd try something different! I've kinda thought that if I hadn't been a crafter, I'd have probably been a planner- most of us like pretty stationery, right? So I thought "what about a stationery subscription?" I just love the idea of getting some treats through the post every month and it all being a surprise.

I did a fair bit of research and I came across The Planner Society Kit Club. What I really liked about the club was that you could see exactly what each past kit had contained so you could see that the quality was always high. I loved that the kit was 100% exclusive and the mixture of products meant I could use them in crafting, blog planning and my every day stationery needs. Anyhoo, this is January's kit (yes, I am a bit behind in showing my hauls but they're not seasonal so I figure it's OK!)

First up are these beautiful double sided papers. There are usually 6 exclusive papers designed each month. I would definitely use these papers in my crafting. So far there have also been journalling cards which out the whole kit, I would use the least.

You also normally get a mixture of stickers. Some are puffy, some non. Some are definitely more planner related but I would use all of these for crafting and planning. The quality of these are just fantastic. When you see these, it's easy to see just how much work goes into these kits each month. Everything is coordinated but without being too matchy-matchy if you know what I mean! I just love that everything is exclusively designed for the kit. Don't you just love that floral seat and typewriter on the second sheet of stickers!! Love!

You'll often get a pretty notebook and sticky notes- omg- these sticky notes!!! Soooooo pretty!!!

You then get a mixture of washi tape, planner stamps, embellishments, charms etc.. Again, I can see a lot of crossover between crafting and planning.

Finally just had to show you the pretty bags that the kit comes in. Notice how the bags are based on the colours of the kit?! It's the little things, no?! Love the bag stickers as well.

Be back next week with my February Scarlet Lime Planner Society kit x
This week I'm sharing with you my Stamping Bella haul and showing you what I chose from the February 2016 release. It was such an exciting release with lots of new ranges and lots of pretty Spring images.

First up is the gorgeous, wonderful new world of Edna The Fairy Godmother Collection. Yep, kinda had to go for the entire collection (bar Meet Edna- I used her in the release so she'll be dropping into my basket next time). I just adore that Edna is curvy, sassy, clearly has loads of attitude but you can tell she's caring and you'd have a crazy amount of fun with her. Have I said?- I really read a lot into my stamps!!! Think my fav is Edna Loves Ice Cream- those glasses!!!! Those kissy lips!!!

Then I picked up all the little extras in this collection (to go with Edna Blows A Kiss) that you can have loads of fun masking and stamping with. Check out my latest Edna card here using Hanging Sign base. I'm loving Em's whole vibe of allowing you to create your own little scenes.

Next up are the coolest chicks in town! This was a fab release for the chickies so I had a hard time picking my favs but I went for these 3 in the end plus a couple of matching dies. Now you know how much I love my fussy cutting but Em's new dies are soooo intricate, it seems crazy not to chuck some in the old shopping basket! I picked ones up for Marching Chick and Gardening Chicks because of that heart string and thin stems. No brainer! My fav one has got to be Gardening Chicks just because of the lil chickie flat on his back!!

Uhhhh! Now for those gorgeous Tiny Townies! I literally squealed when I saw Tiny Townie Birthday Party and just had to email the rest of the Bella babes straightaway (squealing all the way!) Just HOW CUTE?!!! *sigh* Got the matching dies as well for these two, well it'd be stupid not to with those balloon strings wouldn't it?!! The great thing about Em's dies is that she does dies for the sentiments too- just how cool is that? So don't forget you can always use them for other sentiments you have in your collection. Em thinks of everything!

Finally I have a bits and bobs collection here. Did you catch the new Wobbles Collection as well?- really struggled to narrow down to just one this time but settled on Bunny Wobble And the Peony- just love her floral wreath pulled down over her eyes. Matching die? Check! Then I picked this cute little owl from the Christine Grove Collection- just perfect for those difficult male cards. And finally this gorgeous Mason Jar of Flowers- a bit old skool Bella- reckon those flowers would look amazing paper pieced.

So that's it for this haul. Next week I'll be sharing a stationery haul from The Planner
Addict. x

I've bought a couple of things from the lovely Kitty at My Mum's Craft Shop over the past few months and here they are to show you...

First up are the MFT Wonky Stitched Rectangle and Square Stax. Have to say I'm a total addict when it comes to MFT's Stax and nested-type dies. Can't-get-enough!

I also got the LJD Mini Love Notes die which I just thought would be cute for cards/notes for my little boy but also great as an additional fun element to add to cards in general- bit different to a tag, no? Also got the Wonky Circle Stitched Stax. I decided against getting the oval ones as I don't tend to use oval dies quite as much.

Blueprints 27. I haven't bought too many of the Blueprints as they often contain elements I already have similar dies to but I really like the multi-framed die (I do have a couple of similar ones to this and they're really useful) and also I think you can't have too many banner dies (of differing width) for sentiments!

A couple of Echo Park pads- for males both young and old! Really like the colours on the Pinstripes one as although the pad has an older feel to it, it still has nice bright colours to use.

Sorry about the glare on the photo! Love this set- Get Down To Business and matching dies from MFT. Love the mixture of elements so that they can be used for both male and female cards and the sentiments are pretty funny. Love that you can make a card as easy or as complicated as you want with these.

So that's it for my MFT/MMCS haul. Be back soon with my Stamping Bella haul xxx

So here is my first haul to show you on my new-look blog. Now I know it says haul "videos" on the menu bar and I've got myself a channel on You-Tube but to be honest I just haven't had the time I think I need to make them look vaguely professional and I had such problems trying to upload the first one I did to YouTube that I've decided to leave it for the moment. I've got a stack of craft stuff I've been dying to show you but was leaving them for when I got round to doing haul videos, it was all getting a bit crazy- hence the reason this haul is from Nov 2015!!! Anyway, for now, my hauls will be on here as photos- am hoping you still enjoy them as much.

First up is a couple of sets of planning stamps (as you can see I've already started using them). Since the beginning of the year, I've kinda gotten into stationery a bit and I reckon if I hadn't become a stamper/crafter, I'd have probably gotten into journalling so this is my nod to that I guess. I've recently started using a Filofax to manage my blog planning and bought myself a few planning bits. These stamp sets are amongst a number of blog planning stamps I treated myself to (check out my blog planning board on Pinterest for more info). I especially like the Pink & Main ones as I love the font but also the cute social media icons- just love!

Up next is some cute stationery and embellies. The gorgeous mini bulldog clips are from American Crafts- I'm just loving that whole Heidi Swapp feel to them- and I'll use them for stationery. The cute large paperclips I'll use on cards.

Love this Carta Bella pad- great muted colours for those difficult male cards. I'm a huge fan of Fancy Pants' paper and this Christmasy pad was just typical of them with non-traditional colours- so pretty and pastel.

Ha ha! Bit late to be showing you Christmasy papers but us crafters do like to start our Chrimbo cards early! Just love Echo Park- they never fail to deliver. Especially love that soft lilac.

Lastly this little set of things was a freebie from SSS with a voucher code for a free gift that they send out. Really love the Stampendous sentiments for male/boy cards. I did a quick search and found this set goes with a set called Spots Botz which I think I might actually buy! It has lots of cute robot pieces to mix and match and I think my lil boy would really love it so it was a great freebie!

So that's it for this haul- I actually have a huge list of hauls I'll be showing you over the next few weeks- Heidi Swapp Marquee, Heidi Swapp Minc, My Mum's Craft Shop, PTI, LOTV, Stamping Bella, Purple Onion anddddddd 2 stationery hauls!! Can't wait to show you....

Great Christmas Craft Stash video Steph! Love seeing what you bought, thanks for sharing! xx
