Above is my design. I must admit I'm not totally happy with it as I appear to have lost my crafting mojo! DISASTER if you're on 2 design teams! After I'd made this, I decided just to colour in some images this week as the creative juices weren't flowing but even they didn't turn out how I wanted!! Dohhhhh! I'm hoping it comes back soon as I've got to start working on the design team cards for next week soon!
Anyway, enough of my moaning. For this card I used the cute Miki and Kimi diecuts from LOTV which I coloured with watercolour pencils and highlighted with Crystal Stickles. I then mounted them on my nesties, the white scalloped circle I then ran through my Big Shot with the Swiss dots embossing folder. The 3 background papers are from DCWV Christmas stack and I mounted them on red card. I then added 2 ribbons mounted on top of each other and added a cute button at the knot of the bow. The sentiment is a LOTV Christmas greeting to which I then added two gems.
Crafty stash used: Die cut (LOTV); Paper- Christmas stack (DCWV); Assorted cardstock; Watercolour pencils; Crystal Stickles; Nesties, Swiss dots embossing folder (Cuttlebug); Gems (Lakeland); Sentiment (LOTV), Ribbons (recycled & Jo'Anns); Button (free)
ps I've just seen something on Artymiss by Making Memories called a tag curler tool and you can get an assortment of different tags with sentiments on to go with it. It looks like the tool attaches the tags to the ribbon. I thought it looked interesting but am not really sure what it is/how it works. Has anyone out there got one?
