Walk in the park!

Hi everyone! Hope you're all doing OK. Hubbie is working crazy hours at the moment so I'm on my own AGAIN this weekend :o( Am planning on doing some crafting to cheer myself up! yay!
Did anyone watch X Factor last night? I lurve Gary so anything that gives him airtime is good with me!! Did anyone else think that that overly chatty girl who sat down on the stage was another Katie Waissel diva??! A bit overly confident for my liking!!
Anyhoo, here is today's card....

My sis asked me to make a birthday card using "Parkbenchabella". I really think I ought to start getting commission from Stamping Bella!! ha ha. I paper pieced her top and trousers- wanted her to look all trendy and summery with white jeans! Have used MME papers. Sentiment is by Papertrey Ink- wanted to do a big chunky statement sentiment for a change.

I'd like to enter this into:
Bellarific Challenge- sketch- sorry I moved the sentiment a bit- hope OK!
Simon Says Stamp- food and drink
Stampavie- girly
Divas by Design- birthday
Alphabet- use 3 embellies- button, gems, die cut heart
Fussy and Fancy- use 3 embellies- see above
Spoon full of Sugar- happy birthday
My Time to Craft- g is for....green and girly
Papertake Weekly- bingo- button, ribbon & free (gem)
I LOVE this image so much- I think it's how contented and happy she looks and who wouldn't- she's got a book, a hot choccie and a box of doughnuts- bliss!!!!
That's all folks! Enjoy your Sunday! x
Crafty stash used: Stamps (Stamping Bella; Papertrey Ink); Watercolour & lyra pencils; Copics; Papers (MME); Ribbon (Stamping Bella); Button; Gems (Prima); Heart (Die cut- Papertrey Ink)

This is sooo beautiful! Really girly-girl without the pink ;).
I love the way you used the shading to make her pop out. Just lovely!

Well if you start to get commission from Stamping Bella please let me know! Hehe. And sure, I don't mind that you used some creative freedom and moved the sentiment panel. OMG I love how you colored this! Glad you played along with my sketch - Cathabella

Wow!! Your coloring is so perfect. I truly love the look of combining both Copics and pencils on 1 image. When you throw in paper piecing - it is divine - like yours is. Thanks for joining us at the Alphabet Challenge Blog.

This is so beautiful card. Lovely design. I want to try to design like this for the Plastic cards, if you don't mind. I appreciate this.
