Sketch Saturday- Rosie with Cake

Saturday has rolled around again so it's time for Sketch Saturday time! I've still been poorly sick this week still fighting off this cold and cough! I think it's the first cold I've had for about a year so it's making it up for it I think!

For my card I've used Lili of the Valley's Rosie with Cake. I've coloured her with copics, added some white lyra pencil highlights and for shadow underneath her. Also added lots of Stardust Stickles to her. These papers I got for Christmas are First Edition Love Letters- love the colours in this pad.

OMG- forgot to tell you I bought myself a Grand Calibur and some Grand Nesties last week!!! Remember I said on my Crafty-To-Do List that I wanted to try some different shaped cards and I mused whether to get a Grand Calibur or not?... well I did!!! I'm super glad I did as I've used it loads so far which you will see in some upcoming cards!

So this is my first card to show you using my Grand Calibur and Grand Nesties- see a scalloped card?! Cool, huh?!

Anyhoo, the sentiment is a Cats Life Press and I personalised it using MFT Mini Banner Day Alphabet. Corner Bow is a Memory Box die I got for Chrimbo and corner die is a Photo Corner Dienamic.

I'd like to enter this into:
Gem of a Challenge- gingham or checks
Allsorts- let's get cute
One Stop- anything goes
Nutcrafters- cute and girly
Simon Says- anything goes
Stamp n Doodle- girl/woman's birthday
Whimsy Inspires- fancy edges

Close up!

Extra close up. Love her lime green sweater!
Here is Trish's fab sketch!

This week we are sponsored by the fab Doodle Pantry! Thanks, guys!

Crafty stash used: Stamps (LOTV, MFT, Cats Life Press); Copics; Lyras; Papers (First Edition); Assorted cardstock; Stardust Stickles; Dies- nesties, Memory Box, Dienamics); Pearls (Prima)
