Hello!!

I forgot to post these 2 cards I'd already posted on Instagram so I thought I'd add them here together. They feature Dandelion Wishes by Mama Elephant and Reindeer Games by MFT...

I coloured the critters with copics and added white gel pen highlights and fussy cut. I then stencilled a Distress Ink background in complimentary colours and stamped an accompanying sentiment. Then I added the critters on 3d foam pads. Ta da!

I coloured her with copics and fussy cut. I then created a DP background using papers from MFT. I stamped and die cut a sentiment, adhered and adorned using enamel dots and finally added the reindeer figure using 3d foam pads.

Mama Elephant- Dandelion Wishes!

Hello! Today I'm sharing a cute card featuring Dandelion Wishes by Mama Elephant...

I coloured the critters with copics and added some white gel pen highlights and fussy cut. I then created a background using a stencil and Distress Oxide inks. I then assembled all the critters over the background and stamped the sentiment beneath.

Mama Elephant- Penguins Waddle!

 Helloooooo! Today I'm sharing Mama Elephant's Penguins Waddle...

I love this stamp!! SO much fun!! I coloured with copics. I then masked out and added a Distress Oxide background, adding some shimmer spray as well. I removed the mask and added some white gel pen snow and stamped and embossed a sentiment. I mounted the whole piece on some Lawn Fawn glittery cardstock.

Mama Elephant- Cool Penguins!

Hello! Today I'm sharing a Christmas card featuring Mama Elephant's Cool Penguins...

I coloured with copics and white gel pen and cut out using matching dies. I created a background using Distress Oxides and some shimmer spray. I then created a scene using a frame die and a snow slope die. I then assembled all the pieces plus the die cut oversized sentiment on 3d foam pads and added some teeny silver stars.

Mama Elephant- Cool Penguins!

 Hellooooo!

So here's another Christmas card I've been working on. This one features Mama Elephant's Cool Penguins....

So I coloured up the images with copics and added some white gel pen highlights and cut out using the matching dies. I then created a little shaker tag using an MFT Trendy Tag die. I used some Distress Oxides  to create the back panel of the tag. I then assembled some DP and added some sparkly silver twine to the tag. Finished with a sentiment- it really makes me laugh!!

Hello Bluebird- Frosty Friends!

Sharing a teeny tiny shaker card using Hello Bluebird's Frosty Friends and Mama Elephant's Puffy Holiday Greetings...

A really simple card made so easy with the MFT Shaker pouches. Coloured with copics and white gel pen highlights.

Penny Black- Buddy And Duck!

Today I'm sharing quite a simple card featuring Penny Black's Buddy and Duck. When I first started crafting, I loved Penny Black and had loads of their stamps but I must admit my love affair has since faded. However, this cute set is really sweet without being too twee. I think the doggy is perfect for male cards...

I coloured Buddy with copics and fussy cut. I then die cut the birthday sentiment into a card panel. I then adhered some patterned paper to the front of the card blank and added a strip along the bottom of the card blank. I then adhered 3d foam pads to the panel and then stuck the panel to the front of the card base. I then added Buddy and a little stamped label on top.

Job done!

MFT- Pure Innocence Cupcake Day!

Hi ya!

Hope you're all doing well. Here's a card I made using an MFT image I coloured up for the 30 Day Colouring Challenge last June!!!! Seeing the new colouring challenge on Instagram has shamed me into making cards with all the images I coloured last year!! I can't start another June Challenge not having made cards with all last year's images!! How quickly time flies!!

Anyway this is MFT Pure Innocence Cupcake Day...

I coloured with copics and added some white gel pen. I then fussy cut and put some Stickles on her cupcake. Following the latest MFT Sketch Challenge, I then laid out some MFT papers, MFT "wish" die and PI in the layout of the sketch. I added a sentiment from the Mama Elephant Label set but shortened it so that it accompanied the wish sentiment. I then added some die cut teeny starts and some glitter to the "i".

Mama Elephant- Pix's Favourites!

Hey everyone!

Hope you're OK! Today I have a sweet card featuring Mama Elephant products to share with you...

I inked up some the images from Pix's Favourites stamp set and coloured with copics (paper piecing one dress). I then die-cut with the matching dies. I then blended some Distress Inks on 3 separate tiny panels. I die-cut 3 mini polaroids using the Polaroid Fun Creative Cuts die. I layered the polaroid over each of the coloured panels with 3d foam pads and then adhered the bunny flush to the frame. I adhered these to the card blank for a CAS card and finally finished with a sentiment from the Labeled Messages stamp set.

LOTV- Oliver Game Boy

Hi ya. How are you my lovely crafting friends!

Today I have a LOTV card featuring Oliver Game Boy...

I coloured Oliver with copics and then cut a panel around him which I stuck to the card blank. I then cut a strip of patterned paper for the bottom of the card blank. I added a Mama Elephant sentiment and finally simply added some sprinkles.

Mama Elephant- Pix's Favourites!

Hope you're all well my fine and crafty friends!! Today is the start of Kathy Rac's 30 Day Colouring Challenge which I'll be participating in over on Instagram so do check out my daily bits of colouring where you'll be able to see some images I'll be using on future cards! 

Anyway back to today's card which is a real sweetie featuring Mama Elephant's Pix's Favourites...

I coloured this adorable bunny with copics and then paper pieced her dress and added a couple of dots of white gel pen on her cheeks. I cut out using the matching dies. Papers are by Echo Park. Sentiment comes with stamp set and is cut out with an MFT Banner Stax die. Finally added a teeny pink mirrored heart.

Mama Elephant- Shooting Star!

Hey crafty peeps!

Today I have a  Mama Elephant card to show you that I must have made about 8 months ago but forgot to post!

It features the Shooting Star stamp set...

I coloured a couple of elements from the Shooting Star set with copics and cut out using the matching dies. I created a panel in white cardstock to go over the front of my card blank. I die cut some stars and using the main stamped image for placement, stamped the accompanying sentiment and little row of stars onto the panel. I then adhered some patterned paper to the front of the card base and a strip of patterned paper to the front of the card panel. I then adhered the card panel to the card base using foam tape to raise it up and then adhered the main image plus little star to the card panel.

Job done!

Mama Elephant- Tiny Heroes!

Hey everyone!!

Today I have a very special birthday card to show you! My little precious boy is going to be 4!!!! We've been looking at schools for next year whilst I've been silently weeping!!! I can't believe he's going to be 4!!!! sniff sniff...

Anyhow, this is the card I made for him using Mama Elephant's Tiny Heroes and Lawn Fawn's Scalloped Pop Up box. Apologies for the quality of these photos but I think because I used black cardstock for the cityscape, it has darkened everything up for the camera. It looks loads better (if I do say so myself,  ha ha) in real life!! I coloured Tiny Heroes with copics and cut out with matching dies. I then assembled the pop up box (which is a fantastic die set so I'd highly recommend buying it). I used papers and a few stickers from the Echo Park Super Hero Collection kit. To get some height, I used some recycled plastic and adhered to some of the star stickers, the "4" and the Green Lantern girl who I made flying at the back. The fantastic little banner comes with the Lawn Fawn pop up box and I added some Tim Holtz tiny alpha stickers to them. The box actually has four layers to it to get some depth- the black you see is the MFT cityscape (can't remember its' real name!) die which I put on 3 of the layers.

The stars and the big lightning bolt flash at the back are the Echo Park stickers.

Mama Elephant- Polar Pals!

Hi all!

Hope you're enjoying your weekend so far. Today I have a Mama Elephant Christmas card to share with you featuring Polar Pals....

I've had this set ages- didn't get a chance to use it last year so at long last I've been able to colour it up! I coloured with copics and die cut using the matching dies. I die cut an aperture in a kraft card blank and stamped the SSS circular holiday sentiment around it. The snowy paper is by LOTV, gingham paper by SEI. I also paper pieced the male penguin's scarf with it! I added one of the accompanying sentiments at the top- it went a bit smudgy afterwards, I'm not sure why!

How's your Christmas card total going? I've made about half of mine plus I've coloured up some images to use so not tooooo bad!! x

Mama Elephant- Pix's Favourites

Hey everyone!

We've had a dismal day here in Essex with non-stop pouring rain! I managed to find a little time in the craft room whilst my wee one was at preschool so I made a teeny card using Mama Elephant's Pix's Favourites...

I love this little set because, well, I'm a sucker for cute little bunnies but also because they're a great size for paper piecing and are suitable for loads of occasions. This little one is cute for Winter birthdays and Christmas cards. 

I coloured her with copics and paper pieced her dress and scarf using SEI papers. I then cut out using the matching dies. I made a little gold frame using the Mama Elephant Peek A Frame die set and cut off the two bottom windows to create a square which I adhered onto the top of a square of SEI paper. Finally added a Christmasy sentiment from the Polar Pals set and a die cut heart from the Creative Cuts Basic set.

Mama Elephant- Photo Bomb!

How's the Summer treating you all? Hope you're all getting some lovely Summer fun with a generous dollop of crafting time!

So today's card is from the Mama Elephant Photo Bomb stamp set...

I coloured the main image with copics and cut out. The card base is cut using a panel of white cardstock die cut using the Reverse Confetti Big Stripes cover panel. I then cut strips of coloured paper (Simple Stories Domestic Bliss) and adhered them behind the die cut panel. I then raised the main image up on 3d pads. I stamped one of the accompanying sentiments but used my MISTI to help me stamp the sentiment all on one line rather than being on the two lines. Finally added a teeny die cut heart.

Love Cynthia- Express It!

Hey everyone!

Today I have a CAS card to share with you featuring stamps from a couple of Love Cynthia stamp sets...

The 3 cuties on the right are from the Express It set and the peeking girl on left is from the Peek A Boo set. I coloured with copics and fussy cut. I then stamped a sentiment from the Mama Elephant Photo Bomb stamp set and coloured with copics. I used a cover plate from Mama Elephant raised up on 3d foam pads and adhered the 3 girls on the left flat on the cardstock but raised up the girl on the right so she was level with the frame.

Mama Elephant- Papa bear

Hallo!

Managed to fit in an early Father's Day card from my lil one to hubby. 

Absolutely know hubby will love these stamps from Mama Elephant called Bear Hugs...

I've used MFT's Blueprints 28 to form the initial layer of the card (with the flap) and then layered it with a Mama Elephant rectangular stitched die. I die-cut various elements from the Blueprints set and stamped the paws from Mama Elephant Bear Hugs onto the round button. I then stamped the sentiment using SU Rose Red ink onto the flap. Tried to make it a good mixture of soppy yet masculine!

Then I created a little scene inside using some hills (Papers Smooches?) and birch tree dies (Impression Obsession). I stamped the cute and squidgy bears from the Mama Elephant set , coloured with copics and cut out with the matching dies and then finally stamped out the ME sentiment. I LOVE the font on this sentiment and it's soooo apt as sometimes my lil one calls his daddy "papa" which hubby loves!!

Mama Elephant Ella And Friends

Hello everyone!

Hope you're all well. I've been dying to use all these Mama Elephant sets I've bought but just not had the chance to use so I finally cracked open Ella And Friends as I had a little girl's 1st birthday card to make...

I coloured up Ella and her Friends with copics and cut out with the matching dies. I made the frame using an MFT Stitched Cover Up Companion (horizontal) and layered it onto a Mama Elephant stitched frame. The sentiment is by Paper Smooches stamped with PTI Lovely Lady ink (cardstock is Lovely Lady). Banner is MFT from Blueprints 28. Dewdrops are by PTI.

Today I have a Mama Elephant card to share with you that I made for our son's 2nd birthday...

So I used Carnival Cupcakes plus Cupcake Toppers and their matching dies. I coloured with copics and in the case of the balloons I stamped them 3 times and layered each row of balloons up with 3d foam pads. The little hats are just stamped with coloured ink. Papers are Doodlebug and number 2 is MFT die.
