Stamping Bella- Bellarific Friday with Tiny Townie Ella Loves Easter!

Happy Friday!

Today I'm sharing an Easter card featuring two gorgeous Stamping Bella stamps...

 

I coloured Tiny Townie Ella Loves Easter and Bundle Girl Loves Bunny Wobbles with copics. (As you can see I wiped away the ink of some of Bunny Wobbles and drew in a little bit extra of his face with a copic multiliner). I then created the background using an MFT cover plate and some DP. I also added some interest using a scalloped border and grassy border dies. I stamped a sentiment from the Easter Sentiment Set on the frame and then assembled all the elements (raising Ella up on 3d foam pads as well as Wobbles' ears to give them some dimension).

Stamping Bella- Bellarific Friday with Bundle Girl Bunny!

This week's Bellarific Friday was to use an old Bella stamp with an Easter or Spring theme. I decided to use Bundle Girl Bunny and the foliage from Tiny Townie April And Her Bunny Love Easter...

I coloured up Bundle and the foliage from Tiny Townie April and then fussy cut out. I die-cut a circle of DP and adhered it to a card blank along with a strip of complimentary paper. I raised up the images on 3d foam pads and adhered around the circle. Finally I die-cut the word "Easter" with pink cardstock. So cute! x

Stamping Bella New Release with Oddball With An Easter Basket!

Hello my Bella friends!

Today is the second day of sneaky peeks and today I'm showcasing Oddball With An Easter basket... 

I coloured Oddball with copics and paper pieced her dress and then fussy cut out. I then arranged the DPs in a pleasing layout (die-cutting a scalloped circle). Finally I stamped out two sentiments from the Easter Sentiment Set.

Stamping Bella New Release with Uptown Girls Alexis & Serena, Uptown Girls Sasha & Ivy, Whimsabella Lilibun & Clover and Whimsabella Trixie Bloomheart!

Hey! SOOOOOOOO excited to be sharing a new Stamping Bella release with you today! Yes, whilst we're in the dark and gloom of winter, we are already thinking of Spring!

First up is Uptown Girls Alexis & Serena sharing a little celebratory drink...

I KNOW I'm going to use this stamp SO much! I coloured them both with copics and copic multiliners and then fussy cut out. i then cut a couple of strips of cardstock- one red and on black glitter and some gold starry acetate to fit the card blank. I then die cut the words out using gold glitter cardstock and adhered to the card layers. I stamped out the sentiment from the new Best Friends Sentiment set and die cut into a banner. Finally I layered up all the elements and raised up the girls on 3d foam pads!

Next up is the gorgeous Uptownies Sasha & Ivy...

OMG! Another stunning image!! So cute to have two townies from the back, I LOVE! 

So I coloured the townies with copics and added some white gel pen and pencil and then fussy cut out. I also used Alexis & Serena and Uptown Galentine Girls for the polaroid pics. I used a die to cut the camera and photos and coloured the polaroid camera with copics and copic multiliners. I then assembled all the pieces together and finally added another sentiment from the Best Friends Sentiment Set.

Next up is the gorgeous Spring/Easter Whimsabella Lilibun and Clover!

Such cute names right?! I coloured Lilibun with copics, added some white gel pen dots on her dress and then fussy cut out. I also coloured in the Spring Backdrop. I adhered the backdrop panel to my card blank and added a strip of DP. Whimsabella was raised up on 3d foam pads and I stamped out a sentiment from the Easter Sentiment Set and die cut into a banner. Finally I added a fun banner that I cut out from the DP.

Lastly today, I'm sharing Whimsabella Trixie Bloomheart...

I coloured Trixie with copics and added some white gel pen polka dots and some white pencil highlights and then fussy cut out. I arranged a couple of strips of DPs and then die cut some matching hearts to go with the DP. Finally I added a sentiment from the Love Sentiment Set.

NEW STAMPING BELLA SPRING RELEASE- ODDBALL SPRING FAIRY, TINY TOWNIE BETHANY PAINTS EASTER EGGS AND TINY TOWNIE APRIL AND HER BUNNY LOVE EASTER!

Today is the second day of the new Stamping Bella Spring release!

I'm super excited to show you another set of cards today featuring an Oddball and some cutie Tiny Townies.

Here is Oddball Spring Fairy...

I coloured her with copics and added some white gel pen to her flowers. I then fussy cut her out. I created a scene using dies and some DP and black cardstock. I then assembled together to form my background. I added Oddball Spring Fairy on top using 3d foam pads and stamped out a sentiment from the HELLO SPRING SENTIMENT SET. Isn't she pretty?

Next up is Tiny Townie Bethany Paints Easter Eggs....

I coloured Bethany with copics adding some horizontal stripes to the eggs and some white gel pen highlights. I then fussy cut her out. I created an aperture using a die and then raised the panel up on 3d tape whilst securing some DP behind it. I then added a strip of DP, a sentiment from the Easter Sentiment Set and raised Bethany up on 3d foam pads within the aperture. Finished off with some hot fix crystals.

My final sample to share today uses Tiny Townie April And Her Bunny Love Easter...

I coloured April with copics, added white gel pen details and fussy cut her out. I then created an aperture  and adhered DP around the aperture. I then attached all the pieces coloured pieces around the edge of the aperture, raising April up on 3d foam pads where necessary. I added a sentiment from Tiny Townie Ella Loves Easter and some gems to finish. How cute is she?!

Stamping Bella- Somebunny Loves You!

Hello!!

It's Bellarific Friday and Feb's Stamp Of The Month is SOMEBUNNY LOVES YOU BUNNY WOBBLE SET...

I coloured Somebunny Loves You and an older Bunny Wobble (now retired) using copics and fussy cut. I then created a layered aperture look by die-cutting some circles in a panel. I stamped the sentiment in-between the two circles. I then created a Distress Oxide blended background for the apertures and splashed with white paint and added some copics dots. I die cut some grass and added to the apertures. I layered up the panel and Somebunny with 3d foam pads and then finished with some enamel dots.

Bellarific Friday with Uptownie Bunny Has A Daffodil!

Hey you!

How's it going?

It's Bellarific Friday time! I don't normally make Easter cards but I couldn't resist getting the very cute Uptownie Bunny Has A Daffodil so I thought I'd make a gift bag/box for my sis filled with gorgeous mini eggs (which I'm addicted to!!)...

So the theme for this week's Bellarific Friday was PAPER PIECING- one of my fav techniques. I coloured Bunny with copics, paper pieced her dress (adding some copic shading) and then added some Stickles to her dress and white gel pen to the egg and fussy cut. I printed out the PTI bag/box template onto this gorgeous Tilda paper and used a Mama Elephant die for the handle of the bag (I had to resize it a little). I cut the window using a Lil Inker oval die and attached acetate to the inside. I used a SU guessed cellophane bag to store the eggs in before placing them in the gift bag.

Here's your close up. Isn't Bunny just the cutest?!

My Mum's Craft Shop Challenge- Easter/Easter colours

Hi folks! Hope you're enjoying your Easter weekend. I'm writing this on Saturday and wondering whether we'll get a Bank Holiday without rain?!! Mmmmm.

Today's card is for our next monthly Challenge over at My Mum's Craft Shop blog. This month we are setting the nice and easy challenge of Easter or Easter colours.

I've used this adorable MFT stamp called Doodle Garden Hunny Bunny. What I love about this stamp is that, yes, it is an obvious Easter stamp but because of the cute sentiments that come with it, you can use if for other occasions too. Anyhoo, I've coloured her with copics and paper pieced her hairband, leggings and top. These pretty papers are new from Prima called Hello Pastel. I've used Let's Chat, Rolled Daisy, Rounded Banner Stax and Medium Scallop Border Dienamics. Must also say that I've used an old MFT Challenge sketch.

Anything Goes Challenge- Get ready for Easter!

Hello hello! How are you all today? Today's card is for my DT work over at Anything Goes Challenge. This week's challenge is "Get ready for Easter"!!

To be honest, I don't really make Easter cards except I sometimes make one for my late Dad's pen friend in the US so here is this year's! As it has to be posted to the US, I tend to make them entirely flat with no embellies on. This is the first Meljen Designs image I've bought though I've been eyeing them up for a while. I coloured with usual mixture of copics and lyra pencils. Do you like my new grass technique? It's inspired from Paulabella. These beautiful papers are by October Afternoon. The sentiment is PC-generated.

Card marathon!!

...ok, I'm exaggerating but I made 4 cards! This week has been a lovely week in that I've had no rushing around so have had a couple of days to myself to craft away to my heart's content! I've been wondering whether to do a post when I've made a card rather than saving up all my cards from the week and doing one marathon post...mmmm.... what do you think? Next up is another Christmas card- no. 4 for this year! Would you believe it's my very first easel card!!!! I made this for the Basic Grey challenge which is to use more than one fold. The main stamp is a Molly Bloom stamp, I've only just discovered them and I've bought a couple of their Christmasy ones and I love the American folk style of them. The wreath is coloured with Lyra pencils. I paper pieced the ribbon and added Art Institute beads for berries. The sentiment, holly and border are all Waltzing Mouse stamps. I again paper pieced the holly and berries. Papers are all Basic Grey.

Lili of the Valley Challenge & Truly Scrumptious Challenge

The challenge over at Lili of the Valley this week is Easter. I had a couple more Easter cards to make so I just thought I'd include them both under this challenge. This card is from the cutie Elzybells sheep set. I coloured with watercolour pencils, cut out with scalloped rectangle nesties, added some doodling and mounted on pink card. I can't remember where the paper is from. Ribbons are from Joanna Sheen and Laura Ashley.

My final Easter card is for the Truly Scrumptious Challenge. It's very late, I did it in plenty of time and then forgot to post it! Anyway here is the sketch.

And here's my take on it. I used these lovely Art Impression watercolour stamps again with a mixture of watercolour pencils, ink pads and brush markers. Image and background shapes cut out with nesties. All papers are by Laura Ashley as are the ribbons. The sentiment is Pink Petticoat.

Sketch Saturday and Penny Black Saturday Challenges

Here is another Easter card, a card for my sister's friend which I've based around Sketch Saturdays sketch for this week. I really enjoyed doing this sketch as it was quite simple but really effective.

So here is my card. I used a stamp from the Elzybells sheep clear set, coloured in with watercolour pencils and mounted on assorted cardstock. All the paper is from Making Memories. I really like these colours together.

Hi everyone, I hope you're having a lovely weekend. Today's theme across at Penny Black is "Easter". As you know, I'm still desperately trying to get my Easter cards finished so I thought I'd do fairly simple designs for the remainder. As you can see I'm getting the most out of this gorgeous PB flower stamp I bought last weekend!!! I coloured in with watercolour pencils and cut out with rectangle scalloped nesties and mounted on assorted cardstock. The papers are from a Papermania kit. I added a Sizzix swirl cut in half and a flower with a sentiment from Pink Petticoat.

The second challenge is over at A Spoon Full of Sugar and this wonderful sketch by Lim, I really enjoyed doing it! I'm still trying to get through all my Easter card orders so this is another one using that gorgeous Penny Black stamp I bought at the weekend.

So here is my entry. The stamp is Penny Black coloured with watercolour pencils and highlights added with Crystal Stickles and cut out with nesties. The papers are all Cosmo Cricket bought at the weekend and mounted on assorted cardstock. I punched out flowers using a medium flower punch and added little gems. The sentiment is Pink Petticoat.

The 3rd challenge for today is a sketch over at Sketch and Stash Challenge where you can add sentiments and embellishments where you like. I thought I'd go for a different kind of look and experiment with my new stamps.

So here is my take on the sketch. I'm using my new watercolour stamps I bought at the weekend where you create your own image basically. The stamps are meant to be accompanied by a DVD but I thought "I don't need that!" Turns out it does need a bit of practice and I think there's alot of room for improvement!!! I tried a couple of techniques but ended up using brush markers on the stamp and then spritzed with water and watercolour pencils. I think it turned out OKish. Papers are by Laura Ashley and Papermania, cut out with nesties and mounted on assorted cardstock. Sentiment is Pink Petticoat.

Penny Black Saturday Challenge & The Pink Elephant Challenge

Hello everyone. This week's challenge over at Penny Black is Spring. I've been longing for this stamp as soon as it came out so jumped at the chance to buy it when I saw it at The Glitter Pot over the weekend. These are also my new papers which I think are so pretty! I coloured the image with watercolour pencils and then cut out with rectangle scalloped nesties and added some dots round the edge. The 3 papers are from My Mind's Eye and the sketch is taken from my sketch book I got for Christmas.

Another Penny Black stamp I got at the weekend. This is for The Pink Elephant Challenge who's theme this week is Easter. I'm still making my Easter cards and now I've just got some orders from my Mum and sister so will be busy making these this week. The stamp is coloured in with watercolour pencils and highlights added with Crystal Stickles. I then cut out with circle nesties and layered on scalloped circle. The papers were free with a magazine yonks ago and I layered on some cardstock. The blue card is run through my Big Shot with Stylized Flowers embossing folder. The sentiment is Elzybells.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to those of you who left such kind messages to me on my last post. I really was touched. It's still very early days and sometimes I feel very confused because part of me still doesn't believe he's not here. I don't know whether that ever leaves you. Lots of you who've been through the same thing say that you never stop missing your Dad and that you always feel sad but that the intensity of pain will ease. That's such a comfort to me because I don't ever want to get over my Dad- how could I? My Dad was my hero, my role model, my counsellor and protector. He was such a loving father who always put us first. I adored him.

Crafts 4 eternity, Cutie Sunday and a surprise prize!

The challenge over at Crafts 4 Eternity is the above sketch. I'm carrying on my theme of making Easter cards (mainly using my lovely new green paper!)

So here is my take on the sketch. I have used this fun Penny Black duck coloured with watercolour pencils. I cut out with scalloped circle nesties and have added a little doodling to the edge and then mounted on green card. The 3 green papers were from my Papermania pad and doubled mounted on assorted green cardstock. The sentiment is Pink Petticoat again with some doodling. Finally I tied round a sheer yellow ribbon.

Another sketch, this time over at Cutie Sunday. This is my first time on both these blogs!

Another Easter card but this time not green though this was from another new set of Papermania paper I got. I really love the colours on this one! Stamp is cute Penny Black hedgie coloured in with watercolour pencils, cut out with nesties, doodled around and triple mounted with cardstock. For the horizontal strip, I ran some blue card through my Big Shot with the Stylized Flowers embossing folder and then mounted on brown card. Sentiment is Pink Petticoat with some added doodling and flowers and gems to finish. I changed the sentiment's place as I thought it went better on the right with my image.

Finally a big surprise arrived yesterday! Back in August of last year I filled out an online questionnaire for Craft Stamper (I vaguely remember doing it!) Yesterday a box of crafting goodies arrived saying I had won but due to an admin error I was only getting my package now!! I was really chuffed. This is just some of the stuff I won but there were some other bits like chipboard and colour sprays too! I never win anything so I was really pleased!

Elzybells Challenge & ABC Challenge

I needed to make another Easter card so I wanted to use this cute Elzybells image and luckily it fitted in with 2 challenges: Elzybells' Challenge is to use polka dots and ABC Challenge is to use flowers.

So I coloured the Elzybells image with watercolour pencils and added highlights of Crystal Stickles to the flowers. To fit in the polka dots challenge, I ran a piece of white card through my Big Shot with a dots embossing folder and then restamped the sheep and cut their fluffy bits out and stuck onto the original image. Don't they look cute and fluffy?! I then cut the image out using rectangle scalloped nesties and added some dots (more dots!) around the border. I then layered with 2 colours of green card. The background papers are again from that Papermania set I bought the other week. The sentiment is from Pink Petticoat cut out with oval nesties and double mounted on oval nesties with a dotted border. The ribbon is from Poppicrafts.

Penny Black Saturday Challenge & another card!

Hi. I meant to post this a few days ago but my camera was out of batteries and I'd left my charger at my Mum's- doh! This week's challenge at Penny Black is the above sketch. I needed to start making some Easter cards so I thought this sketch lent itself very well to spring like images.

So here is my entry. I love this cutie hedgie! I coloured him with watercolour pencils and added some glitter to the daffodil using Crystal Stickles. I cut around the image using scalloped nesties to which I added a doodled border. I then mounted on some yellow card using a circle nestie. The 3 different papers are all from a Papermania green set which I got for 99p from Artymiss! Bargain or what?! I mounted 2 halves of paper matching yellow and green card fastened with mini brads. I then used the 3rd paper mounted on a piece of green cut with my Fiskars border punch. The sentiment is a Pink Petticoat mini mounted on a scalloped oval. Finally I added some flowers from Poppicrafts.

This second card is a really quick card I did for my sis. She's been on holiday this week and I wanted to send her and her partner a silly card to welcome them home. I just threw it together really as it needs to get in the post!! I chose this particular stamp as my sis was craft shopping with me and she wanted me to buy it to make cards for her and her partner as she said they have a little sign in their bathroom to hang their bathrobes from that looks just like this stamp! Just a shout out to my friend Linda as she gave me these lovely hot pink brads!
