My card has been made using Nellie Snellen image coloured with copics and highlights of white lyra pencil. The layout is an old Sketch Saturday sketch. Papers are Echo Park Seasons Greetings. I used Fishtail Banner Stax Dienamics. Ribbon is PTI.

Anything Goes- Tags!

Hey peeperoonis! I have another theme of "TAGS" for you today- this time it's the challenge over at Anything Goes. I've chosen to make a card featuring mini tags...

This card was inspired by a PTI card Nichole Heady did here.  I've never used these tags as a focal point on a card before but I think they look pretty cool so I think this is a style to be experimented with! The tag stamps, sentiments and tag dies are all PTI, as are the buttons which I sewed onto the card.

That's all the deets! Pop over to the challenge to check out my teamies!

Anything Goes Challenge- A sketch!

Hello there! Can't believe a fortnight has passed and it's time for the next Anything Goes Challenge. This week's challenge is a sketch done by my teamie, Val.

For some reason blogger is playing me up and I can't seem to display it so if you want to see the sketch, please click here.

I have to admit I coloured this image up absolutely months ago, so much so that you can see I used more watercolour pencils than copics!! Anyway, this image is a Sarah Kay stamp called A Little Help from Margot. These beautiful papers are by October Afternoon called County Fair. The little flowers are made using Magnolia dies.

Close up.

Don't forget to check out The Craft Den for all your crafty needs!!

Anything Goes- Early Christmas!

Hi folks! Well Tuesday has rolled around again so that means it's time for our next Anything Goes Challenge which is a nice and easy one for you- "Early Christmas". Now I'm sure you can all do with getting a head start on all your cards so this is a great excuse so I'm expecting to see lots of fab entries this week!

So I've used Quinn in her Boots by Stamping Bella. I coloured her with copics and added shadows with watercolour pencils. I cut her out and added Faux Snow to the ground and some Glamour Dust in spots over her to look like snow falling. The paper is DCWV (don't forget you can buy your DCWV stash from The Craft Den). The sentiment came with the stamp and was cut out using a Fishtail banner Die-namic. The die-cut snowflake was a freebie. Finally I added some hot fix crystals for a bit of bling bling!

Hope you can see the snow falling over her!

Crafty stash used: Stamps (Stamping Bella); Copics; Watercolour pencils; Paper (DCWV); Assorted cardstock; Faux Snow (Art Institute); Glamour Dust; Hot fix crystals; Snowflake die cut (freebie); Ribbon (recycled); Fishtail banner Die-namic (MFT)

Anything Goes- Make your own background!

Hope you all had a fabbie weekend and have been enjoying the glorious sunshine! Today's challenge over at Anything Goes this week is "make your own background". Now, I must confess, this is pretty much my worse nightmare challenge! As you know, I prefer to spend my time colouring but I thought the idea of a challenge is to challenge yourself!!! So why not make something totally different and completely not my style? So here it is.....

For this card, I used the Dienamics zig-zag border die and cut strips of cream and blue cardstock along with a sheet of patterned paper by Lily Bee Designs and glued them together to form a background. Kinda thought it looked a bit like a quilt. Then I got brave and stamped a sentiment from Hero Arts right over the top! The Butterfly is another Die-namic die and finished with pearls.

Do pop over and have a look at the DT's samples- this challenge is a great example of how we crafters can vary so much!

Anything Goes- Summer Days!

Hellooo! Well how fantastic was the Olympics yesterday as well?! I'm especially pleased for Andy Murray- two fantastic medals!! And we narrowly missed out on about 4 gold medals! We're on fire!

Yes, it's Tuesday today so that means it's Anything Goes time and this week we have the lovely challenge of "Summer Days"- not sure how appropriate this is for the UK this summer but we can all dream!

My sis asked me to make a card for her friend's birthday and she cycles alot so she picked out Flora the Cyclist from Stamping Bella.  I think this is one of my fav makes for a while- I just really like the colours on it. These stunning papers are by Echo Park- This and That. I didn't use the sentiment that comes with Flora but the sentiment I've used is an individual Stamping Bella sentiment. I've used the Memory Box label die for the sentiment.

Anything Goes- Let's Not Be Square!

Hello. Today's theme over at Anything Goes Challenge is "Let's Not Be Square"! I must admit I rarely make cards that aren't square so this was a bit of a treat for me. I used regular circle and scalloped circle nesties to make a mini easel card.

This beautiful image is a Mo Mannning fairy coloured with copics. The papers are Echo Park Winter Park. I added Art Institute Faux Snow around the edge of the circle. The large snowflake is the Damask snowflake die from Papertrey Ink and the smaller snowflakes are a Sizzix die. The pretty little blue star gems are from The Craft Den.

I love the glisten and shine from the Faux Snow!

Such a gorgeous image! I love Mo's winter fairies!

Don't forget to pop along and visit the rest of the DT's work, as ever it's fabulous! x
