My Mum's Craft Shop- Crafty Friends!

Hey crafty peeps! This will be my last card for My Mum's Craft Shop for a little while. As I mentioned on Saturday, I am taking some time off for our new arrival!!! I thought I'd leave on a crafty note...

I've used MFT's Pure Innocence Crafty Friends. This little set is just perfect for your crafting/blogging friends. I thought I might do a little bit of art with it at some point to put on the wall of my craft room. I've paper pieced her dress and then coloured with copics. These papers are Echo Park Beautiful Life. The sentiment is cut out using Let's Chat Dienamics. Finished off with some heart pearls.

Wonder what she's stamping!

My Mum's Craft Shop- Glitter or snow

Hey folks! This week we are having a GLITTER OR SNOW week over at My Mum's Craft Shop.

For a quick and easy card, I have used the Wee Stamps topper from the Holly Time collection. I've used lashings of Stickles (hope you can see it!) on the topper and my snowflakes. These papers are Docrafts Christmas In the Country. To decorate I've used the Snowflake Trio and Jumbo Snowflake Dienamics.

My Mum's Craft Shop- Sandy and her sombrero

I've got another Uptown Girl to show you for My Mum's Craft Shop- don't forget these are selling out fast already so if you want to get your mitts on Sandy, you'd better get to the store pronto!

I coloured Sandy and Her Sombrero with copics. The papers I've used are American Crafts Shoreline which I've noticed have now sold out (sorry folks!) The waves have been made using the Catch A Wave Dienamic and the sentiment that accompanies Sandy has been cut out using the Say What? speech bubble Dienamic. I used my Papertrey Ink In The Meadow Snowdrifts die but you could easily substitute it with the Snowdrifts Dienamic.

Here's your close up. How trendy n cool does she look?!

My Mum's Craft Shop Challenge- Boys Only

Hello all! Hope you're having a fantastic weekend. Can't believe it's 1st September!!!!!! Golly- the summer's gone quick! This month over at My Mum's Craft Shop blog we are hosting a BOYS ONLY challenge.

As usual the fabbie DT have come up with some amazing inspiration for you so dust off those masculine stamps...

I've used this fabulously massive stamp from Woodware called Huge Golf. Kitty's got a variety of these massive text stamps covering all occasions and they are fab for a relatively quick and easy card with big impact. I stamped the main text straight onto my card blank, did some copic colouring and then paper pieced using MME Oxford Lane. The main stamp comes along with 5 mini text stamps so I stamped one of those close to the main text. Finally finished with a Fresh Cut Grass Dienamic.

Must apologise for horrendously rubbish photo. Just couldn't get the light right!

My Mum's Craft Shop- Christmas is coming!

As far off as Christmas is, we crafters know we need to get prepared so this week over at My Mum's Craft Shop "Christmas is coming"!

I'm showcasing some Papermania Christmas products today. This gorgeous stamp is called At Christmas- Chair. I absolutely love this stamp, so so perfect for those traditional cards and it is a dream to colour on kraft. The papers I've chosen are Papermania Christmas in the Country which complement kraft really well. The sentiment is one of two that comes with the stamp set die cut using Fishtail Flags Stax. A final bit of embellishment with a diecut Let It Snowflake Dienamic.

My Mum's Craft Shop- Tilly Daydream!

I've a very simple decoupage card to share with you today for My Mum's Craft Shop but first a quick notice...

Kitty is holding a SHOP DISCOUNT DAY on Sat 31st August 10am to 3pm- check out the website for more deets!

This card is using Tilly Daydream Decoupage Pack- Sledge. Whilst it has, like the name suggests, some Christmasy decoupage, it also has an Autumnal image and this cute afternoon tea one- perfect for those quick birthday cards. I framed the decoupage using a nestie and then mounted on these gorgeous MME papers called Up And Away- they literally could've been made for this decoupage! Finished off with some heart pearls. Job done!

Mmmm, love afternoon tea!

My Mum's Craft Shop- Use Kraft!

Hey peeps! How is your week going? This week over at My Mum's Craft Shop blog we are showcasing our creations featuring Kraft.

I decided to go full-on kraft by stamping and colouring directly onto kraft cardstock. This is a Little Claire Designs stamp called Garden Shelves. It's beautifully large and is fab to colour- so much scope for as much detailed colouring as you want! I coloured with pencils. I really wanted to make a feature of the stamp so chose a very simple layout adorned with twine and a Cabochon.

My second post of the day as it's the first of the month- August!!!! How time is flying!!!! And that can only mean it's time for the MMCS Monthly Challenge. This month's challenge is easy peasy- SUMMER!

I decided to use some very Summery papers and these cute cameras to create a card with mainly dies and no colouring for change. So these papers are MME Cambridge Court. The cute cameras are made using Accent It- Cute Cameras Dienamics. The sentiment is from the MFT Document It-Captured Memories stamp set cut out with the Fishtail Flags Stax. The scalloped edging is created using the Simply Scallops border Dienamic.

Pop along to the blog and check out the rest of the DT's designs and you must be making a summery card this month, right?!

My Mum's Craft Shop- Animals

Hey hey hey! How's it going? This is the first of two posts today- both for My Mum's Craft Shop. This week the MMCS DT have been showcasing products featuring the theme of ANIMALS!

I've used the newly in The Cats Pajamas Aye Aye Captain stamp set. I've coloured him with copics and cut him out. I've also done the same with the 2 lifebelts. These gorgeous papers are Echo Park Here and Now- I used one of the sheets of paper to cut out the clouds which I then mounted on 3d foam pads. The sea was created with the Catch A Wave Dienamic. Finally the sentiment is part of the stamp set. It's pretty versatile as the sentiments cover thank you cards, male birthdays or a cute romantic card.

Anyhoo onto today's card which is for My Mum's Craft Shop.

What could be more summery than a beautiful English rose? I bought my very first Clearly Besotted stamp set called Happy Everything! The sentiments come with the set (I stamped the "Happy" using SU Rose Red ink) and finally I added some nailheads and Stickles.

Tweet tweet...

Hallooooo my crafting peeps!

Today I have a wee card to show you for My Mum's Craft Shop using a really quirky Paper Artsy stamp set...

This stamp set is JOFY 15 and is a whole sheet of cute and quirky stamps (I've used 5 of the stamps in this scene). Everything is coloured with copics. I stamped each of the birdies twice so that I could layer up their wings to give a 3d effect. The bird box I actually paper pieced and then added some copic shading. The papers I've used are MME Unforgettable. The gorgeous frame (my new plaything!) is the new Chalkboard Frame Dienamics. Because the stamped sentiment looked quite handwritten and doodly, I decided to use my Autumn Leaves stamp set that looks like doodles (sorry can't think of name of it!)

Hope you're having a fab week! x
